This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.
run/walk: they walk
scream/groan: they groan
day/night: All da time babey!
what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!
survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
Uh dudes? Did someone forget that ASSAULT RIFLES with a recoil absorbing stock could get you way farther than anything else you guys mentioned? 1. less ammo to carry around 2. only have to carry clips 3. close OR far range 4. faster reload times 5. hardly ever jams on you. I like my choice better. I also agree with riou. His plan was like some giant run-on sentence that makes your head spin, doesn't flow, and contradicts itself.

I can name one: Go to a gun shop. At least here, anyway. Anywhere in the southern US (Mexican border) has AK-47's readily available, especially in Texas.
And an AK is unbelievably easy to maintain. Take some water and a rag and clean off the parts. A knotted shoolace will do for the barrel. Reloading it is relatively simple, just release the clip lock and pull out the clip. Keep said clip lock open and insert new clip. Release lock, and cock the weapon.
Fortunately i have never handled a gun before, i only know how to pull one's trigger and reload the freaking thing. But that's probably enough knowledge to use a weapon.

A semi Automatic is the best kind of rifle, and assault rifles... they're load. Like... REALLY LOUD. Even with a silencer, it's a pain in the ass to make it shut up.
Assault Rifles = Loud. Loud = Zombie bait Zombie Bait = What's making the loud. What's making the loud = You.
Simple, really.
Not to mention, I think the best protection would be a spear/pike. Quiet, long range, and light.

Hey guys i've been gone for a while but im back... and have a new scenario too.
Ok you and 4 people are temporaly trapped in a Precient (police department) and unfortunaley the place has been looted of all weps except a .45 calabir rifle with 3 shells you are a military soilder in trainning and have been put on retreval dooty, you only are equipt with a 9mm and 2 clips the other 4 people:
Darrel: 21 yr old man, arrested the day before for robbing a 7-11. Athletic Some experience with weapons but not enough.
Sam Dawson: 24 yr old man, who works as a part-time carpenter... only has a scerw driver and and a boxcutter. he hide in the closet when he was brought to the place to repair a vent. No experience with weapons but has expericnce with barricade's.
Erin Carter: 19 yr old women arrested for underaged drinking In a stage of deleria. No experience.
Travis Greene: 21 yr old man, took refugee after the you showed up... has a loaded pie shooter with 9 shells Has Experience with weapons and mapping.
You: Soldier with a 9mm handgun with 2 clips, a humvee with limited space... No radio contact with HQ. Has Experience with keeping order and with weapons.
You round everybody up to get to the humvee and a police officer jumps out shooting a revolver (no aim whts so every) missing and hits the front tire of the humvee and Travis kills the man with a head shot and takes the gun... revolver with only 5 shots left.
From the loud noise of the gunshots other zeds are attrackted and notice you.
You can see from a distance that at least 20 zeds are attacking with weapons at hand, (knifes, shovels, 2by4z, crowbars, sticks, and hammerz) then erin points out a car across the street when the carpenter suggests to take his truck a Dodge F-150 (black). His car is across the street towards the zeds...suddenly he notices the keyz are in the car when a zed attacks him and bites his neck...
