This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.
run/walk: they walk
scream/groan: they groan
day/night: All da time babey!
what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!
survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
Alright thanks for all that information. Very interesting, and I can honestly see a good movie being made from that. Had a few thoughts and whatnot planned - I can see it now!

Left4Dead 2 is amazing....really unrealistic, but OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what you talkinga bout, most realistic game of all time, especially pump action shotgun hitting a mile away.
No responses on my Virus?
probably because you are not offically in the club?
I still find your plan extremely unfeasible as again shot guns only hold 2-3 shots then you have to reload, then your position will be given away. no mater how strong you are, a sledge will be a very slow weapon as a means of self defence.
Same strategy, but head towards Canada and use my moderate wilderness skills to sustain myself until I reach a small town.
this isnt a strategy, then everyone who wants to join could write
" oh hey, I'm gonna grab all the power weapons in my house, a 12 foot katana, and a SPAS military shotgun along with a .50 BMG Rifle. Then Im gonna avoid all zombies because I can." Doesnt work like that bud.
Your not a member dude. Just becuse they say yes, means nothing at all.
The rest of you.
Other then DC you guys have no power to choose members. Thats my reason for existing. YOu can say, "Hey skater, this kids doing good, how about letting him join?"
HOwever none of you did that. He didnt even make a scenario answer.
Alright, I'd like to join so I'm ganna put up one of my survival plans. I've been thinking of this kinda stuff ever since I was about 12, when I started playing Resident Evil games, so I hope you guys find them okay.
I live in southern Louisiana, and dispite common beleif, I do not live in a swamp. I live near New Orleans, so that means there's lots of fishing/shrimp boats in the area.
Assuming my family is zombies, and knowing that I'd be too scared to kill them myself (Not to mention that guilt I'd feel just thinking about killing my mom), so I'd essentially just pack up what I could and leave. My family works, so they wouldn't be home when they were zombified, so I'd pack up one of our two freezers into one of my old, big school bags, or a duffle bag, and take my dad's handgun from under the bed, along with as many mags as I could hold. Needless to say, I'd bring water. My dad is a trucker/knife/sword salesman, so needless to say I'd take one of the large axes stored in the closet as a tool, more than a weapon. (To cut wood for barricades, and as a last resort weapon to decapitate.) After packing up, I naturally find it stupid to head for a heavily populated area to "hole up". Way too many zombies would be there, so I'd take the back roads through the sugar cane fields, after taking my dad's truck that would be full of supplies and the rest of the ammo (It's a 2 ton, not an 18 wheeler, so it wouldn't be impossible to controll.) Now, after heading through the feilds, I'd head to my friend Craig's house, because his family is very protective. There's a shotgun behind each of their doors, in case there's a burglar, and a lot of ammo. So I'd essentially make a convoy, assuming they're alive. If not, I'd attempt to headshot the family and take a shotgun with ammo. Either way, I'd head for the shipyard where my Uncle Danny's shrimp boat is, and I'd unload as much supplies as I could before heading out, and to the berri islands as we call em, which are almost not populated. Once there, I'd either live with my family (if alive) and my friend's family (if alive), or, if worst comes to worst, alone. The islands have enough resources to make a little hut, and people have lived there off of the land for years off of seafood and roots.
Hope you guys like my plan, and feel free to critisize.
so I'd pack up one of our two freezers into one of my old, big school bags, or a duffle bag
How big are these 'freezers'? Could you carry one in your hand with ease? If you need a duffel bag, would that not mean they are pretty big? (Set back for speed and stealth)
and take my dad's handgun from under the bed, along with as many mags as I could hold.
Can you somewhat shoot that handgun? What type is it? Glock, 9mm, do you know how to reload proper? Same with the Axe, can you swing it properly, without harm to self?
after taking my dad's truck that would be full of supplies and the rest of the ammo (It's a 2 ton, not an 18 wheeler, so it wouldn't be impossible to controll.)
I presume you can drive this without phone books right? So, how much gasoline is in it? And about supplies? Are they in there before and what kind of supplies? Who put them in there? Would the Zeds not detect you while your busy packing away?
Craig's house,
He could be infected.... And you can kill them but not your own family right? But what about your friend? Could you kill him?
Danny's shrimp boat is,
Can you sail that? Can you navigate the waters? Any knowledge of the use of the boat? Keys, would you not need those?
Fine, I'll redo mine. But first, explain to me what's so bad about 12 gauges. I can carry a fully loaded one, I can shoot a fully loaded one. What's the big deal?

They're big freezers. The size of a refrigerator with an ice box on the top of it.

Yes, my dad is in a gun club and I can shoot the gun with decent accuracy. I beleive it's a glock 18, and I can reload it properly. As for the axe, yes, I can swing it without hurting myself, but I wouldn't say I swing it properly.
I presume you can drive this without phone books right? So, how much gasoline is in it? And about supplies? Are they in there before and what kind of supplies? Who put them in there? Would the Zeds not detect you while your busy packing away?
Yes, I drive a truck of my own, but it's a small pickup truck. It's about 3/4 full right now, and as for supplies, there's a camper in the back that has enough room for food, so what I'd do is I'd pack up the duffel bag with the food from the freezer, and put it back there, and if I had time I'd go back for more from the other freezer, and also put some magazines back there. And I live in a small neighborhood, so if the zombies DID find me, there wouldn't be a lot. I'd be able to fend them off while packing.
He could be infected.... And you can kill them but not your own family right? But what about your friend? Could you kill him?
I could kill them, yes, because I don't know them. They'd just be another zombie horde for me. As for Craig, he's not as close as my family, so if forced to, yes, I could.
Can you sail that? Can you navigate the waters? Any knowledge of the use of the boat? Keys, would you not need those?
I've gone shrimping with my uncle in the summers quite a lot, so yes, I can sail it. As for navigation, I know how to get to the berri islands, as I've gone there before. I know how to use the boat, and he hides the keys taped under the railing of the boat, and a spare key near the steering wheel.
I joined CPAG right when you left, and the ZSC a good deal later. And I only said that because Hoodhulk forgot me, lol.
Obviously youre much more active now since i left having so many posts, i just dont seem to remember you. No offence meant by it.
At which point 60 more zombies rend you limb from limb.
True, even though shotguns are portrayed as the ultimate zombie slayer in the media, when you think about it, any short range weapon relies on the assumption that there arent very many zombies. If this is the case, your shots will draw more attention to yourself. The most ideal weapons would be long range ones which dont make a lot of noise, so maybye a silenced sniper, or a crossbow, which are both pretty hard to get your hands on.

AK-47.
You kill 30. At which point 30 more rend you limb from limb.

Ideal is not necessarily good. That would rely on the assumption you are a long way away. I real life, a room might have 5 zombies tops. When clearing buildings, your shots are muffled and there are not going to be too many zombies at any one time.
so I'd pack up one of our two freezers into one of my old, big school bags, or a duffle bag, and take my dad's handgun from under the bed, along with as many mags as I could hold. That's too big a load. Also, make sure you actually have all that stuff -_-
Way too many zombies would be there, so I'd take the back roads through the sugar cane fields,
Bad situation there. The zombies could burst out from the fields onto the road without you noticing them until it's too late. Since you're carrying so much, you won't have time for dangerous CQB.
after taking my dad's truck that would be full of supplies and the rest of the ammo (It's a 2 ton, not an 18 wheeler, so it wouldn't be impossible to controll.)
you don't know how tough it would be to control one of those at all. Also, all the noise it would make would attract zombies which would stand in the road which would cause you to crash which would cause you to die.
I'd attempt to headshot the family and take a shotgun with ammo
Close quarters. No power. Lots of mess. Chaos. You'd probably get killed if you try to headshot them. also, shotguns are among the worst guns to use in an outbreak like this. You'd have to wait for them to get in close, there is a TON of noise, clumsy, heavy, tough to reload in a pinch, pretty much everything you don't want in aa zombie attack. Also, damage level is unreliable.
and to the berri islands as we call em, which are almost not populated. Once there, I'd either live with my family (if alive) and my friend's family (if alive), or, if worst comes to worst, alone. The islands have enough resources to make a little hut, and people have lived there off of the land for years off of seafood and roots.
Both of those are unreliable catches. Maybe you don't get anything on the lines for a while, or the roots go bad. Either way, there's a good chance your stock of very, very perishable food would run out or go very low for quiet a while. Also, what about hurricanes? Water supply? You wouldn't be able to sustain yourself all that long.
You have a chance of surviving for a day, or a week . . . but you wouldn't be able to sustain yourself for a long time, and your getting to the islands is hazardous and you rely a lot on luck. Good first effort, though.
That would rely on the assumption you are a long way away.
Which i would endeavour to be in a real life situation. You should never get up close and personal if you dont have to.
I real life, a room might have 5 zombies tops
I cant think of many situations where youd have to clear a building. This about survival and staying hidden, not acting as a one man swat team. Of course initially you would need to gather supplies, but after that the best plan would be to go to ground.
