This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.
run/walk: they walk
scream/groan: they groan
day/night: All da time babey!
what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!
survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
Okay, three pages into the tavern is too much. I'll come up with a mediocre post.
You've gone into the mountains, to escape the undead. You have a gun and a melee weapon in decent condition. (Your choice on both) It's October and winter is coming. Do you go deeper into the mountains and hope the zombies get frozen? Or do you stay on the fringes of the nearest city, and hope that it gets cold enough to make a difference. Keep in mind surviving in the mountains in winter is hard enough without zombies.
@Itachi The plan is okay, but what kind of rifle. A "sniper Rifle" is pretty much any moderate-long range rifle with an adjustable sight. Also there aren't really many with 50 round mags. If the bullet was small enough to fit into a mag like that, it would be too small for shooting at long ranges. There are exceptions to this though. Next, there is no such thing as a dai katana. That's either a mistranslation or a first person shooter. I do see where you were coming from though. A katana with a long blade, I think. A normal sized Katana might be better suited though. It would be cheaper to buy, and be easier to use in close quarters urban settings, that is if you could get your hands on a battle worthy one.
ok Itachi, (cool name BTW) Horrible plan, for the sheer fact that you have to fight an ENTIRE CITY. Just about EVERYONE in the city is a zombie and it would probably take up your entire amount of rounds within 5 minutes. You should tell by pages 1-10 that you absolutely WANT TO STAY AWAY. I give the plan this.
Survival for a day - not likely Survival for a week - xxxtremely unlikely Survival for a month - almost impossible Survival for a year - dude, your dead.

@Thoad, I don't think it's impossible to survive in the city. It would take a lot more planning though. You'd need to track the pack movements, and make sure they don't follow you home. If you knew the city and had back up-places then you could probably make it if you didn't stay in one place too long. As long as you don't get surrounded and stayed on your toes, then survival is possible. Probably more so than in the mountains.
Yes, while they are light, you have to get close, and close means your closer to the zombies teeth. Which Is a bad thing. If you get bitten you wiould turn into a zombie.
Though in some cases it can be better. I mean if there are so many that they are going to get close no mater what I would want a long sword. One handed for speed.
Now for the senario I would go into the mountains. I have spent a considerable amount of time in the mountains so I know it will get cold. I am presuming that I am wearing October friendly stuff too, a jacket long pants boots ect. I would try and make it to a cave so that I can have shelter. If there is a bear I would shoot it for the meat and the skin. I don't care if I was amo for I will need food. For weapons I will take a rifle (I am not very picky on the kind) and a hatchet. I am not taking the hatchet so much as for defense but for a tool. I am also thinking I have flint. If you say I don't then I will find some (I know were to look). The hatchet would also come handy for skinning meat that I catch and chopping wood. I would also spend time looking for roots that I can eat.
If you live anywhere near there the mountains, and hike regularly, then probably water, some camping supplies, Ideally a water filterer, but other than the hatchet nothing to build a shelter with. Hopefully cold/harsh weather gear.
At least that's best case scenario. Maybe you raided a camping store. Timegoesby, if you spend time in the mountains, I would assume you at least have some cold weather gear.
