This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.

run/walk: they walk

scream/groan: they groan

day/night: All da time babey!

what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!

survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH

guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.

cure: there is none.

where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.

how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME

family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too.
able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.

durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.

doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted
I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!

Blaze.....YOu mentioned getting into your car, after seeing that car crash, are you really gonna want to go out there?

True, I was going to post an explanation but I left it out. You see, in the circumstances, I'd take a car and my family over the 10-15 crazed zeds out on the street. And the fact that, there is no real protection against them in my house, due to waking up right in the middle of it, I say driving over the zeds is much safer then hitting them with a bad.

Now Roads will be clogged, and others will be trying to escape, but, hey this is a chance that I'd have to take.

PS: Alright thanks Hulk, your a very lucky, lucky duck (xD) for living in that situation. Where as my house would be broken in quick! Damn you non zed safe house!

Hey, want to play a game? I call it "Not butchering the English language".

i would reply with something witty or insultng, but 30 cool points doesn't get u as far as it used to.

Ok, now...WOODY!!!!!!! Your back! Hows the air force?

sup skater. i meant to leave u a message but i thought id check back in here first. i actually quit the raf a few months ago but that's a story for another time..

also, sup blaze.

Now for hood's scenario:

Since you are talking about family, i'll assume i'd be staying at my parents house with my 2 brothers. Their bedrooms are on the same floor, so i'd wake em up fast, and get the weapons from their rooms (2 machetes and a baseball bat for last resort situations). Then i'd go downstairs to my parents room and get them up to the top floor. Because the house used to be divded up into flats you can lock staircases individually (there are 3), so once i had everyone on the top floor, i'd lock the door leading to it and try to be as quiet as possible. Fighting the zombies isn't really an option here so i'd opt for patience. Try and wait it out. Likely the zombies would be occupied devouring the people in the car to notice any noise from the house. Eventually they'd head off, and then i'd plan my next move from there.

Pretty basic rele, but i don't see what much else i would do given that situation. Chances of escape are very thin. Even if you could escape you wouldn't be able to carry very much gear and would likely be unprepared for after the immedate danger was over, which is why i choose to stay put.

um, I dont think machetes are good weapons in a zombie outbreak.

1. the handle of a machete is very very small, if you stab something your hand will shoot past the handle and onto the blade cutting yourself.

2. having a small handle the machete loses 2 handed capabilities which in turn loses power

3, because of loss of 2 handed capabilities fatigue sets in fairly quickly swinging a machete around.

which is why if the handle of the machete could be extended creating basically a short sword then the machete would be more effective.

To be honest I haven't read most of the things posted on the past 5 pages. Bring the bat, but keep the machete, you can modify it to improve it, and it's still not a horrible weapon.

Sup Woody, welcome back!

He does have a bat, but, it depends on what kind of bat that is. And how much it can withstand. Remember, bats are not made for smashing zombie heads, but a machete, that's a whole different story. Those MS-13 phuckers down south use that to extent, so basically they have tested that out on humans. And it works...

But bring both for extra protection.

yea that is pretty nice, any longer and it would be a katana lol

but this is what i mean by short blade guard as I actually have a machete.

as you can see the virtually no blade guard presents a problem to the wielder as stabbing attacks will cause the wielder's hands to shoot up towards the blade because the blade guard doesnt guard against that.

also because it is a slashing weapon, it lowers its effective range to by up to half a foot, because you slash at an angle, because it is really hard to slash parallel to the ground.

if confronted by zombies... this should be the weapon of choice.

Well done DDX love the machete

I got it a while ago, if my memory serves its like 20 bucks or something. I used to use it for clearing out my backyard since it is like a jungle back there.

But yea it does look pretty sweet when you hang it from your belt

sledgehammer(I'm strong enough to use it.)

14 year old? swinging a 20 pound sledge hammer around? hmm... questionable.

the blade will be driven straight into your shoulder.(You'd have to hold it really weird to not stab yourself.)

its a crowbar dude, plus rifle mounted grenade launchers dont have that much recoil...

silenced pistols dont either.

emphasis on stealth

zombies smell your stealth bud.

shotgun

normal shotguns hold 2 rounds, combat military shotguns that arent normally found in homes hold around 10-12 and are semi automatic or automatic. unless your dad has a special gun license for custom shotguns, (a barrel that holds 30 shells) I highly doubt you will be able to use it as it is around 11 pounds, with a 40 pound pump action lever.

I didnt think the plan needed to include an immediate escape. Assuming the zombies don't know youre there in the house, my plan would still be the same - wait tl they take off then carefully pack supplies with the family and get in the car and drive to the countryside.

1. the handle of a machete is very very small, if you stab something your hand will shoot past the handle and onto the blade cutting yourself.

Machetes are hacking weapons. You dont thrust with them. Also why would the blade cut the wielder if you stabbed. It could still be done.

3, because of loss of 2 handed capabilities fatigue sets in fairly quickly swinging a machete around.

Machetes are actually pretty light. Id give them to my brothers though. Theyve both lived in Nigeria for years using them as tools and theyre pretty handy with them, as well as being built for it.

Also DDX, as machetes come, yours is pretty small. Mine are almost twice the length

Id take the baseball bat. Either way though, theyre all last resort weapons. A good plan relies on never having to use your weapons.

I wish to join, so:
If outbreak starts in the North:
I would grab my moms shotgun and a sledgehammer(I'm strong enough to use it.)

How old are you? Because the sledge hammer alone outweighs most people who tend to grab their parents guns in most cases. Your mom's shotgun as well? That too is heavy as hell, and that's before it's loaded. You need to know how to shoot it as well. Other wise the kickback will send you flying back wards.

and head to the gas station with an emphasis on stealth.(Only 3 blocks away or so.) I would get bottled water, food, and gasoline and head to the marina.

The stealth would be lost as you are carrying a sledge hammer and shotgun, not to mention a bag(s) to carry all that food and water. Stealth would come last in a situation like that.

I would bust open the flimsy marina gate and grab a gas powered boat, taking any survivors I find with me.
I would head to Mississippi,(I can navigate a boat ok and live in Tennessee.) where my family owns two farms close to a small university town.(Where I would spend the rest of my days.)

How would you defend the farms? Also, family, what about them? You didn't mention anything about your mother coming along, so I guess she'll find her own way back?

If outbreak starts in the South:
Same strategy, but head towards Canada and use my moderate wilderness skills to sustain myself until I reach a small town.

How much experience do you have in the wilderness? Nothing backyard type, more experienced as in hunting, camping etc. Because the Canadian Wilderness will eat you alive if not fully prepared. Also, Zeds in the woods, what about them? And what if you get lost in the woods? Food, water?
