This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.
run/walk: they walk
scream/groan: they groan
day/night: All da time babey!
what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!
survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
Ok, I would like to start of by saying: I have seen some preety decent and even good plans (in my opinion) in this thread. i do however think that you guys sould find out how to join up, many hands makes many zombie deaths. I'm paraphrasing of course. here is my plan: firstly, I live in cleaveland ohio, X( so, with the high X( populaion being what it is, i may not survive long. I have only one firearm (well primary one) and that's an 20 gauge shotgun. My secondary is an m1a1. About 500 shells and 20 clips i have zero chance! but there are like... seven stores in a 2 block radius which i could loot for the gun behind the counter. i ralize there is not alot of chance of that. i have alot of wood and nails around he house though, may just "ride out the storm" as some say. I would make a trip in my F-150 to the home depot, take whatever's left (even the shelves) and go back home. i will die inevetably.
You most likely will die if you have your mind set to it. Think positive. If you can get out of town before the zombie outbreak gets to a class 2, you can survive for a lot longer. Me and my friends have packs of "bug out" kits in areas we go to often. (One in my room, one in my living room, and in cars.) They include a first aid kit, water purification tablets, a multi tool and about a weeks worth of food and water, if rationed well. They're kind of largeish, but they're not heavy, you can strap it to your back and carry it with ease, or put it in a school bag. You should try and make one of those. When I eventually start collecting guns I'll most likely put an extra magazine in each of them.
They're also not just for zombies, they're for any natural disaster. If a hurricane hits my area like Katrina again, then I have multiple weeks worth of food because I have multiple kits.
Class one is the first stage, where the virus is either in incubation, or the zombies are being contained. Class 2 is where the zombies are spreading throughout a large area. Lets say a single zombie is placed in new york city. For the first minute it'll be class 1, once the zombie spreads and the police can't hold it, it'll be class 2. Once the entire city of New York is infected, and only a few hundred people are left, barricaded in houses, then you have class 3. Now use those classes until you escape your city, then magnify them to state size. Then nation wide. Then world wide. And that's how the classes work.
To recap, Class 1 is an outbreak that's under control, class 2 is an outbreak that is out of control, class 3 is an apocolipse.
My plan: Take absolutely every piece of unused furniture or any other somewhat heavy object and block the windows and doors. Then, I would use a stepladder as well as some form of sharp object in the house, like a hammer. With this, I would smash a hole into the roof. The houses in my house are close to each other, so I could go building jumping should the time come.
I have no guns, so I would jerry rig a spear, usign a kitchen knife and broom. Or I would use my actual spear and sharpen it. Point being, I would go building jumping to a couple of different houses, break those roofs too and see if there is any other survivors. If they're zeds they won't reach me. I'd make sure my mother was safely barricaded (if she is home. She works night shift at the hospital, so if the zombie outbreak happened during her work hours then I'll assume the worst, cry about it later) I'd then call my friend, tell him about the zombies (in case it hasn't gotten to his hoity toity area). IF the house was vacant, I'd get somethign from inside the house to get back onto the roof. I'd check the first few houses using this. IF I encounter a zed, I don't go in. If I don't, I'll make noise to attract something. IF nothign comes, I'd check the house.
So after this, I would make what I could of my, and my neighboors food. After I have gotten down to 50% food stores, I'd head to the nearby smith's and albertsons. Try and find something. My daily schedule would be as follows (provided I have food and water): -wake up at 8:00 -Check internet for response from fellow humans, if power is still on -Check to see if water is still on -Sniff around for gas leaks -write fliers on remaining printer paper (saying an adress, and general location, labeling it as "SAFETY CHECKPOINT, REQUIRES COMPANY" -Check to see if the emergency "set on fire" stores are on roof (meaning I'd put some firestarting equipment, like an old newspaper, some lighter fluid and a match.) -Pick off a few zeds from roof by drawing some form of heavy object on them. -Write in diary. Now then, here's where it branches off into 2 parts. 1st would be if I ran out of food and I found someone, 2nd is with me just by my lonesome.
_+_+WITH SURVIVOR+_+_ I would use the survivor as a on and off mule, as well as some form of friend of (if female) a life partner. I would head to the grand canyon, where it's unlikely a zombie would be able to kill us from teh depths of it's gorge. Or better, we'd pick up a gun ont eh way (if possible) and clear/reinforce a nearby lodge or gift-shop like area. In my spare time I'd make a escape route to the cave dwellings inside the canyon, allowing me a few more days of sweet life. I would also take the local fauna as a resource. For the droughts, I'm pretty sure the canyon has a stream that flows through it.
I'd continue to use flyers as well. Only I'd see if I could find rubber balloons in order to send them off.
+=+=+WITHOUT PARTNER+=+=+ I would more than likely find a gun, or keep my spear and find a gun, and go out like a final hope of humanity. I would do my best to survive, but with nothing else to live for, I would do my best to use my skills in order to kill as many zombies as I can. The spear would do well at this, since it could stab through the eyes. I'd use several kitchen knives as throwing knives and I'd suit myself in very thick clothing (in order to make sure they don't get a bite on me). I'd also wear a scarf around my head (leaving only my eyes open) to prevent them from doign very much of touching me. I'd also wear my biking/gardening gloves. I'd treck across the land, clearing out places during the night, reinforcing them, and then continuing. I'd also see if I could get to radio stations, and set to a recording. The recording would go as follows: "I am Nolan Gardipe. I may, or may not be the very last survivor on the planet. Somehow, I think that I'm not the only one who was smart enough to stay put and take matters into my own hands. Anyway, if hear this. I want you to know. I am probably still alive. I am not likely to be in this city. Just keep in mind: This voice will constantly be with you. You are the last survivor. You have lasted just as long, if not longer than me. I am clearing this world of these movie monsters. Do not join me. It is what I have left to do. Try and rebuild society. As far as I can tell, the area within the radio waves is cleared out.
Good luck."
I'd continue to do this till I died.
I'd always keep a pocket knife or a revolver with 1 bullet in handy, in case things got so hairy I was sure to die. Meaning, if the zombies were going to kill me, I wouldn't wanna be one of them.
Wow, nice. If i could get to an area which you were at, I would clean up the mess and kill any reamaining zombies. Then i would repair buildings and get ready for the worst. (for me the worst is having 1,000s of zombies swarming twords me.) I would try to find an M60 to mount to a rooftop so i could blast away numores (don't know how to spell it) zombies. and also i would try to find somthing better than my shotty and my m1a1 like an M16 or some other rifle. it helps to have a good supply of ammunition and a good varaity of guns. I would barracade all of the buildings at least somewhat. although i would adopt the most defensible one as my base. then i would also send out radio signals telling people that I had a survival outpost set up. when i ran out of food, i would move on, taking my best weapon with me. alhough i'd probably be farming and rooftop gardening if i put in all this effort to fortify the place.
Zombies use to be humans. Now they're crazy infected diseased super freaky humans. But they're still humans, and humans need to eat, right? So lets say it's a full blown zombie apocolipse and everyone is in hiding. If no one is bitten in a few weeks, wouldn't that mean the zombies would starve to death? So essentially, if everyone is smart, you can wait out the zombie apocolipse if you have food. What's everyone's opinion on this, what do you think?
Sorry for innactivity guys, ive been working on fence and was gone at a karate seminar up in virginia. Also ive got a math test this weekend, annnd the auger on our tractor ran dry out of oil and the gears have seized up. so righ now im sposed ot be workin on the fence buuuut i cant =/
Tray. The virus is just moving the body, and it feed off the body, causing slight decay, but it dosn't eat much since it is small. So there not really gonna die of hunger.
