i think ubertuna made that butterfly one up, or one of his buddys made it up, because i just googled it and nothing came up, besides a whole bunch of stupid crap.

No it is not. And yes, I did make the butterfly puzzle, so google will not avail you. Gonna get 2 more answers, then post the correct sollution.

the answer is this:

The butterfly was made of plastic. It was hanging from a plate glass window, which was perfectly clear. The butterly was there to make sure that nobody walked into the window. The butterfly fell, and a man walked into the window, injuring himself.

That is just stupid.

well it depends. if hes telling the truth about that hes lying then hes speaking the truth. but if hes lying then hes not speaking the truth.

the answer is no. this question fools people using the lier's paradox. if the question was "is he lying?" the answer would also be no. this relies apon the the person who is answering it beleiving that not true=false, or not false=true.
