My computer can handle Oblivion and it looks very interesting, any opinions on the game? I know I can get the expantion packs and I can download a ton of mods, but how much gameplay time could I expect to get out of this game, is it just generally worth the money I would put out for it? (I dont have much so this is why I ask =P)
I have Morrowind, which came before oblivion and there is tons of gameplay in it. it is worth the money. Morrowind is awesome. you can do whatever you want in oblivion. Definently buy oblivion
tons of stuff. I only bought morrowind but I heard it was the same,there are tons of different things to kill and if its the same then two secret swords to find! Also its fun to steal and sell what you've stolen to the guy you stole it from
It took me about 80+ hours of gameplay to get through the GOTY edition. I still have a LOT of quests to do. Definately worth the money. But about what you can do, basically anything, RPG wise though.
You can kill monsters (obviously). You can "explore the vast world of Cyrodiil" You can be an assassin, thief, fighter, mage, etc. You can be a "madgod" You can kill people you can buy a house (or multiple houses) You can become a "Divine Crusader" You can become a "Champion of Cyrodiil" You can do a seemingly endless amount of quests And for a small fee you can get mods
