I have to go with Metallica, Sabbath Did create metal, but Metallica were the ones who got it to the status it is today! And bands like Disturbed are still keeping the dream alive!

love iron maiden but im gonna say mettalica cuz maiden didnt have many albums and alot of there songs sound the same

@delossantosj,you are completly wrong.Metallica has made 9 albums and Iron maiden has made 14 albums.And Iron maiden is still around,im going to see them in 1 week.
