Man i have been reading previes and news about both these games At gamespy.com my favorite gaming news website. And I cannot decide Whether to buy Rockband 2 Or GH:WT this fall Here is an open discussion about which game you think is better
Now me personally im a GH fan but IDK Rockband 2 has a s***load of Songs.................
For those people that don't know Guitar Hero WT will have all the features of Rockband with recording, online play, song purchasing, and the base guitar hero is $10 less!
Guitar Hero World Tour has a redesigned guitar and drum set. The new guitar includes a solo pad like Rock Band did but it's touch sensitive so you can "Slide Solos". The drum set has a pedal, 3 drums, and 2 cymbals. The microphone has yet to be shown. It also comes with a song creator, which lets you change notes and the tone (Mic) but apparently not the lyrics (From what I know).
Rock Band Two comes with a redesigned guitar with improved strum bar, and a realistic neck. The drums includes the same 4 pads and pedal, although this one has a metal topping to prevent breaking. There is a new drum set they made when teamed with Ion that includes 2 "Anywhere" symbols to attach with the set costing $300 and a $50 Stand alone symbol. This drum set can be doubled as a real electric drum set. The new microphone may include it's own button set to replace the need for an Xbox 360 controller.
In my opinion Rock Band 2 will be better then Guitar Hero On Tour.
