i really like both but if i had to choose i would definitely choose star wars.

Lol...LOTR is a good story, but I think it could've gone much differently.

I liked star wars but I'm losing respect for it from this new movie that's coming out (blehhhhhh!!). Still, hopefully the movie won't stink up the series so badly that it loses to LOTR in my mind, because right now I say Star Wars is best.

Normally, I'd say a tie, but I just saw a commercial for some new animated Star Wars Movie from cartoon network, so no I say LOTR.

star wars is good for the future and lord of the rings for the past dude those movies are both so good

Lord of the Rings. Awesome book & awesome movie. The should have done The Hobbit first since it is actually the precursor to Lord of the Rings.

lotr - star wars got boring before it so i guess it wins (for me anyway)
