My stepmom told me it was supose to end in 2004, but it didn't.

Ridiculous. Where is the proof to base this on? Anyways, no, people say the world is going to end next year at any time, they have no proof to base this upon.

I thought that this was a Catholic thing that they adopted from the myan calendar and was later diproved (duh) since the myan calenday was based on the some sun based system that was wrong or something. Gaw I can not remember now. I am going to go find that book....

The reason that the Mayan calendar will end in 2012 is because the last Mayan Calendar Maker just got lazy at 2012. He could have gone on forever...

If I could, I would keep writing that calendar just to shut all those people up.

Well, I agree with DarkRoot, it can end at anytime, don't think it won't. It might be a few hundred years, it might be tomorrow(unlikely), but I'm sticking to my answer, it can end at anytime.
