Bungie has said that they may not make another installment of the FPS Series: Halo: Combat Evolved. Though, with this sad news, Halo Wars is coming out... And, Halo 3 is still an active project; with more and more add ons coming out !

That wasn't a 'Halo', at least it shouldn't have been, 'Halo's are rings, and it was probably Onyx, or another Onyx-type of thing, since it seems to be a 'Forerunner' thing...and with all this stuff, they just had to make something that killed everyone else but the Flood huh? Genius, pure genius.
I don't like Halo, it wasn't all that great of a series, but I've played them all and I think they'll make a 4, just as many have probably said, and it's pretty obvious, it won't specifically be called 'Halo 4', nor have the same characters perhaps, I'm not sure how much Microsoft owns, or how much Bungie owns since they aren't working together much anymore. It's probably going to be similar. Since Halo is a modern Marathon, they'll probably just make a modern Halo, as that seems to be their thing. Either that or they'll trash Halo, and just make another FPS(probably, but not likely since they've already got 2 good ones) that everybody will go nuts over and Halo will be forgotten, sorta Xo
I think Halo should stop at 3, and IF they make a 4th they shouldn't make any more, they are making so many Halo things they are milking it dry. They should stop before people get bored of the Halo things.
if you guys play the last mission on legendary, and beat it, go through the credits, theres an ending clip, i bet most of you have, but this might mean there is another, becasue master chief is still alive. but the marines and covenent think he's dead, so there could be another when master chief returns or something but to me, the story line wont be as great, cause it mostly ran out of ideas.
Trust me buddy, people can say alot of things when their wallets are full. Once their money hungry sets in again they WILL make another. Halo made a lot of money on the release date alone.
Heck no with all the money bungie has made off the Halo series it would not surprise me at all if we saw a new one or even a few new ones in a couple of years
