I would (if i have to) class myself to be affiliated with 1 particular political group as a liberal however i think pople get too caught up with belonging to a certain branch of politics. Be a human being i say. Im conservative about sum shit and im liberal about some shit. For example crime im conservative, prostituion im liberal.
I was wondering myself if I was the only conservative on the site and at one time considering making this exact topic. It's not like I just chose one though, A year or two ago I had been watching the news a lot and I told him what I made of it and he said, "Son, you're definitely a republican."
Well woody, it doesn't work quite so well if you just be a human being because there really is no form of government that delivers it all.
I absolutely agree with you on that. I was reading a book called One Man's America, and it made a unique description about the the two main American parties. It stated that both parties are based on American values, but on different ones. The Republican party is based on freedom and the Democratic party is based on equality. Republicans in office will bring you the freedom to be different and unequal, while Democrats in office will bring you total equality, but are willing to sacrifice freedom to do it.
