I luv the PS2 because it was cheaper, around 200 bucks in america when it was knew, was the first console that started to have a little bit modern graphics, and has some great games that mix with the classics and the modern games. Give it up for the PS2!
Even though I'm a huge fan of the Xbox, I have to give the Playstations credit for having a controller that fits peoples' hands much better than the Xboxs. I was hoping the Xbox 360 would have better control size, and it was better, but not enough. Cheers to the people with enough brains to make a controller that fits peoples' hand!
PS2 was one of the better consoles for the Sixth Generation of video games.

Very true, the older X-box controller was very huge, although I personally only used it once, since when i got an X-box they had shifted it to be smaller.
The PS2 was cheap (Compared to the new PS3) and had many great titles, from Grand Theft Auto to Jak & Dexter to Metal Gear Solid. It was durable, and had slots for add-ons as well. The one thing was that it came with 2 slots and needed an add-on for 4 slot compatibility. Unlike the X-box. The PS2 also had memory cards, allowing easy transfer of data, what the X-box 360 tried to incorporate into their removable hard drive. The PS2 is still a popular console well into the seventh generation and games are still made for it. The only mistake they had was making it smaller, causing it to break easier and the switch to blue backed disks (From black backed), because not all systems could read the blue backs.
In my opinion, for the game consoles, the Sony system and the Microsoft system both fight eachother, while Nintendo sits aside from it all. The PS2 was the 360 of it's day, and the X-Box was the PS3. The PS2 is probably my favorite system, and yes, I've played the 360.
