XK67: My understanding is that there is no max. level. It scales up endlessly. Depending on how much memory he allocated to the variables, the max level is probably something like 2^32, or about 430 billion.

You are probably about as high as anyone has gone. If you didn't use a cheat, that's a whole lot of time invested in the game. And if you did use a cheat, who cares what level your character is.

FallingUp: That's pretty good. I beat the game shortly after it came out, but it took me to lvl 28 to do it. Concievably, you could beat the game around level 22 if you focused on nothing but doing so.

Sonny has many cheats but its fun to play without cheats (me lvl 17)

yes the cheats ruin the fun though... and yes no one really knows the max level

Although when you think about it say you get really frustrated on a game then you will need a cheat to stop you smashing your PC/games console up

hmmm i got bored of that game i think i will go finish it now

a cheet for unlimited gold and lvs is:
do a training battle and then when the screen fades out, click the x button that quits the game. Load up the game and it will be the after battle screen and sonny will have 1 more lv and more gold it works i have a lv 1024 gunslinger

I used the leveling up cheat ever since I started my character so i'm level 40 now!

I abused the leveling cheat and now i`m 85

I tried not to use the cheat but i couldn't help it. It's fun to see how bad you kill the enemies in one hit.
