I think the song is actually pretty overrated. There are songs so much better than it. The solo sounded cool because the guitarist stuck a bottle in his guitar neck making a double guitar sound. I would say Stairway to Heaven is so much better
Lynyrd Skynyrd is an awesome band. Free Bird is an outstanding song, but I think there was a little to much guitar involved and not enough drums, but it is still one of the greatest classic rock songs ever recorded.
