I can understand them on account i'm learning german, but it's true besides Du Hast MOST amerikans dont know what the hell they're saying, wich is amusing lol
I like Rammstein.But you americans cant even understand them,so why do you listen to them?
who cares whether or not you can understand the words. yes, sometimes it's beneficial to understand what's being said, but for the most part, i want to hear music i enjoy. i want to see a show that i enjoy. Rammstein, i'm slowly getting into because my girlfriend is german (doesn't speak much of it, it's just a heritage thing) and she is trying out music that calls to her roots. plus she likes that type of music.
I like spanish and japanese music as well as chinese, irish, swedish, and some others i'm sure. it's all about a sound that fits the mood of music that you want to hear. if they happen to be singing in a different language, so what? open your minds, you might find something worth listening to.
I like Rammstein and I dont care if I don't know what they are saying. If I wanted to know, I could look up the lyrics to the song in English on the internet. They are a pretty good band with good songs and the fact that they are singing in German sounds cooler than English and also the harsh German accent compliments the genre of music that they are.
