I don't know if this topic has already been brought up, but from the stickies, I didn't see it. Well anyways, there is a Rock Band 2 coming out in.. around September I think. It's going to be great. The drum sets aren't going to be near as loud, if loud at all and the sensors in them are going to be functioning a lot better, thus no more random pad misses when you're playing the drums. The kick pedals are going to have a metal plate on top of them so you won't have problems with broken foot pedals, as a lot of people did in the first Rock Band. The guitars are going to be much better and a lot easier to use, much like those of guitar hero's guitars.

Rock Band 2 seems great, but in general, Rock Band isn't that good compared to Guitar Hero. Guitar Hero has proved harder and more realistic. I'm saving my money for Guitar Hero World Tour which does have Slipknot, lol.
Heh, funny you mention that. GH3's timing window is gigantic compared to Rock Band. And if you think Guitar Hero has proved to be harder, check out these 2 vids.

And, I don't think in any way is guitar hero more realistic than rock band. If you've played rock band, and seen the graphics, you'd know. Also, you get to create a character, not pick one.
to ryan7g you don't compare drums in rock band to guitar in guitar hero that doesn't work also if you compare hardest songs guitar hero wins by a lot and your saying in rock band you can create a character well in guitar hero world tour you can create song create character and create guitar also drums are special because when you hit them hard they make louder sounds and guitar will have 10 frets 5 touch sensitive like rock band and guitar hero will have a mic it will have dlc so amount of songs doesn't matter if you looked this up you would know rock band is nothing compared to guitar hero world tour!
lol. Try adding some periods to help us all out, jeez. Yeah guitar hero may have SOME harder songs than Rock Band on the guitar. So what? Rock Band has three instruments, and GH does not. The RB guitar does have 10 frets and still will have 10 frets in RB 2. And how can I not compare drums in RB to guitar in GH? I was comparing the difficulty and you can do it with 2 different instruments. By the way, the reason I said you could create a character is because it's more REALISTIC than GH. Creating a song has nothing to do with that. And the 75 songs I named were only the songs that come with the game. If I named the DLC songs, I could've named so much more. GH4 or GH on tour..whatever isn't going to anywhere near as good as RB2. Let me tell you why. 75 songs (not including DLC). Unfaulty drum sets. Quiet drum sets. Metal foot pedals. Less "squish" between the strums, a lot better looking guitars. Better graphics. And that's all that I can think of on the top of my head. Gf, though.

If there would be a rock band 2 it would be the same with the drums and stuff and probalbly different songs but if its the same asrock band with the drums i will just buy the cd becuase i already have rock band
rockband is more realistic to the drums and i like the guitar more the drums from rock band 2 are probol as realistic as u can get even my friend (who is a drummer) was exicted aboutthem...no offence to n e 1 if u want realalistic then learn how to play a guitar becuz going click click click is never going to be realistic to me
