they both suck because of those genres all the good generes like rock are being pushed aside and forgotten all rap is is people talkining and hip hop is just beats

i think hiphop is way better.

They are basically the same thing, I like rap because the only person I really like out of both these types of music is Lil' Wayne. Rock is the best.

i only likke rap hiphop and alt, but i think hiphop is better because it has more of a musical feeling, even htough rap is good too =]

hip hop is almost the same thing as rap but i prefer hip hop becuz it has a better beat and better singers in its catagory.

I don't like these kinds of music a lot because they are usually degrading to women. Hip hop is better if I have to pic one but it depends since the genres are so close.

I prefer rock music usually but hip hop is okay I guess. I don't like most rap.

hiphop is degrating to women, but then again rock sometimes suppports substance abuse...both are goo to listen to tho, but theyre messages smetimes are horrible
