okay now we start with discussions first discussion. what was a better plane the spitfire or the hurricane i will respond after someone else posts and feel free to research first
The spitfire was deffenietly a better plane. It has a better engine, more max speed, can go farther and longer, and has better armament. The spitfire was also one of the most popular British planes of the war. The hurricane was lso a good plane. As a fighter-bobmer, it preformed very well, and more of the planes were produced, but that isn't enough to outweigh all the good qualities of the Spitfire.
Well your wrong on the fact that more were produced, More were produced in the battle of Britain but spit fire production continued to the 50's. As a fighter bomber the hurricane helped save north Africa by sending up about a hundred hurricanes with the 40mm underwing pods would be able to kill the best of the german tanks but as a fighter it was replaced by the spitfire once production got up to speed and as a fighter bomber by the hawker typhoon

Yeah it was. It was the first Jet powered plane. It came out so late that it really didn't make a differance in the war. the reason it wasn't mentioned was was because we were only talking about the Spitfire and the Hurricane.
the spitfire has better speed and has 8 machine guns on its wings. the hurricane goes slower but has 4 more machine guns but i think the speed is more important so i say the spitfire is better
