Jimi Hendrix is the king dude. However. I personally like Slash a tincy-wincy bit better, because of the music style.

This is even a contest? Jimi helped pioneer guitar playing with distortion, as well as wammy bar effects. Slash is good, but Jimi is the best of the two in my book.

i never really cared for jimi, though i do like some of his music, i just never got into his guitar playing. So Slash is the easy choice for me.

Yeah, Jimi is one of the pioneers of modern rock, he's amazing, but I just don't like his style of music as much. I'm not saying Slash is better than him, I'm saying I like Slash's music more than Jimi's.
