Mantises do do that. When their mating, the female bites the male's head off. But the process still continues. Apparently, the male still has enough of hi brain left to complete the process before he dies.
You should know I'm the most inappropriate mod (though dank's herd of penicorns doesn't make him look innocent either)~ No weird ideas existed till you said they shouldn't.
