uh are you going to make another suggestion on how to get AP,so everyone can shoot it down and say "WE DON'T NEED MORE WAYS TO GET AP ZOMG"or something like that.Mainly this feels like pure spam and needs to be locked.

Oh that's a great... -- wait. There's no real suggestion here. If anything, how about more ways to LOSE AP? For example, commenting on profiles should earn 0 AP. :P

There really isn't a whole lot more that can be done to earn AP... I think 5 different ways to get AP is already pretty good.

Well getting points from playing games is the only sane idea. That's what this site is actually about.

But how would that be measured? By how long the window is up? People could find easy ways around this, just opening up multiple windows and leaving them there for a certain amount of time. I just don't see what way there would be to measure a point gain from this.

Maybe accomplishments that Kongregate has (Sorry! I still like AG better!).

Lets say you're playing Gemcraft. You can certain amount of AP for a certain accomplishment depending on the difficulty. For example:

Mix 3 gems: 5 AP
Kill 500,000 Monsters: 10 AP
Finish game: 10 AP
Get all Glowing Frame scores: 20 AP

I know AG wants to be original, but this can only make the site better, in my opinion.

that is a very good idea, but if they started doin that evry body would be a master at a game and have a lot of AP.

Well, Smilyguy, the point of the site is to play games. And Drako, that's why I think you shouldn't get AP for posting on profiles. You're getting tons of AP for talking to friends.

Why do people want more ways to get points? I don't really get it. Once you get some friends and find some topics you are fierce about, points will flow it. Worked for me.

Well Skater, if you read what I said...I don't think playing games on a site where you're meant to is spam, is it?

Claw, people will make more accounts just to post on their own threads. It will be referrals all over again.

How about if a Mod keeps reads a thread with a high amount of popularity and posts, they can give as many points as they think nessicary. (For coming up with such a crowd pleaser, like destroy bob, for instance)

This is foil proof because a Mod can check if the maker puts up way to much posts.

and say, you get more points the more varity of people (a thread with only 4 people posting on it wouldn't get as much as 10 people posting on a thread)

We already have enough ways to get AP, look at Firetail, he's nearly 7,000 AP over our highest rank!
