i bought "the orange box" for the xbox 360 and i decided i would try it for pc hearing about garrys mod and the console commands. i coulden't get the orange box so i bought the 'Half-Life 2:Episode pack i downloaded it at my grandmothers and it worked fine but i tried a command and the game crashed and would never start again. i then bought portal worked good but my video card wasnt that good and i didnt get the full game experience out of it. I then bought the Half-Life 2:Game Of The Year Edition, and i downloaded it i went into steam to launch it and it said pre-loaded and that i needed to pay for it off of the online marketing service steam and i just bought it retail. i took the games back but i am asking the game community here has this happened to you? how can i fix this?
