All I know is that skepticism is usually a good idea. I mean, look at the "bigfoot found" thread. I told the idiots there to be skeptical because of all the hoaxes but some of them were like "No, professional bigfoot hunters found it. Look at the pictures." and then what happened?! It turned out to be a hoax.
I'm not saying that there is not such thing as aliens, but I will remain skeptical (with an open mind) until real hard evidence is made public.
I personally believe in aliens, but until an alien body is released into public and an optopsy is done on live tv I can be difinate or argue over the existance or not.
Personally, I believe that there almost has to be other sentient life out in the galaxy. The chances of there not being life in this infinite universe is too slim.
I'm not sure if the astronaut is telling the truth, but I agree with Dizzyk and Mosaic in that we need hard evidence before we solidify our belief.
I have no doubt that we have been visited by extra- terrestrials on many occasions. We also could have that kind of technology that aliens have, but when Napoleon conquered Egypt, he burned the Library at Alexandria which held all of the information of the world that they had. That sent us back several hundreds of years. If it hadn't been burned down, we would have flying cars by now, and we would have solar energy as our main power source.
Lol solar energy? we would have something even better!
I saw a thing on discovery channel, and they have sidewalk tiles that produce eelectricty every time weight is appalied to it. It is pretty nifty. It's going to be placed in airport terminals 2009.
lol just put them on the border and the mexicans can pay our electrical bills.
(sry I offended anybody with that joke. I have nothing against mexicans
I doubt this guy saw anything. If there are aliens intelligent enough to travel across galaxies to visit us, they are definitely advanced enough to keep themselves undetectable to us. How it will happen is, either we will travel somewhere and find a species of alien extremely primitive, or much more advanced creatures will visit us.
If he is describing the stereotypical alien, and they have advanced technology, that is bound to be a lie. For all we know they could look like cats, or elephants, or even us. But i doubt it is the predicted stereotypical cartoon image of an alien.
Also, he was one of the earliest pioneers of space travel, he is 77 now, old age and what not sets in. Chances are he could be a little wacko from being one of the first peoples to land on the moon.
I doubt it. He said he was briefed on the subject by NASA officials. I don't think he ever claimed to have met the aliens themselves; he just came forward with what NASA told him.
1-Maybe NASA has something to hide , maybe they showed Michell something and possibly made him swear not to reveal such information other wise
2-Michell is lying either because he is suffering from old age disease or because he wants the spotlight on him again
You know when they talked bout Area 51 and they showed some sort of weird stuff that was said to be alien related? I mean it looks like the stuff from the movies! I mean how in the world is that possible? the directors never saw aliens so how could they possible know? (unless they were aliens themselves 0.0) but frankly , alot of the stuff is just non sense , but yes i do believe in some sort of Alien life form
Fire burns things, Kalb. It happens. And we aren't talking about technology, we're talking about knowledge of the way the world works that, had it been saved, would have placed us centuries ahead of our time.
