So this is a question that's been asked time and time again whether by a friend or in the depths of your own mind. So let me lay out the question with all the rules.
You have the choice of either you or your parents dying. The death will be a bullet to the brain from the front of the face, point blank. Whichever answer you choose, your parents will be told beforehand, and you cannot consult with your parents before or after the choice.
This is a very tough question because of all the moral implications. One problem is based on your religion. Being christian or whatever it becomes a bit easier because you know you won't die, you will go to heaven or the other way around, the choice becomes a bit easier. But being atheist this is the end of everything. If you die you won't come back forever, this could end your life forever, nothing ever again, but it's the same fate for your parents. They are your parents, but they are older, you have more of your life to live for, and they would probably choose their own death.
If you choose your parents would you be able to deal with it for the rest of your life?
If anyone is honest enough to give your real answer whether here or on my comments, I promise I won't judge whatever your answer be. Or if what your thoughts are on the subject. I have an answer in my head if this happened but I keep my answer to myself, I like to reserve judgment and sit in the middle to see what both parties think.
i would die..i would rather save two lives tan keeping one.i dont care if i might have a bright career ahead of me love is love and i love my parientes.
Hm i would say my own life I have asked myself this mind and self confronting question time and time again but that's my decison my parents always threated me good and that would be the thanks for that. Also my life is pretty stupid i don't care if i die i am not of those of who wants to keep a life. humans do need the life they are addicted to life well... if it is nice you have much to lose but this isn't my case and it will never be so my parents are everything for me... well my father, my parents are divorced and i would still prefer my parents to live even though they have not setlled everything mature
Well, I would gladly save my parents, but at the same time, I would know that my parents would want me to take theirs, because if I died, they'd never be able to live with themselves, so I know I'd rather save my parents, but I don't know if I'd want to do that to them. So, I really, really don't know.
my mom always said, "if you die then you might as well take me with you". So I suppose I'd say that I'd live. I know my mom might off herself if she knew I was dead. If she wouldn't choose that decision, I would say her. I have a dad, but I don't really care whether he lives or not. He's a drunk bastard that seems to make everything break and hurt.
