because earlier man people would be active in the past 5 minutes but now its down to 80..out of 130,000 users less than 200 are avtive..Does AGneed help in attracting new members and keeping them?
Not at all... The current situation, as a couple of ppl mantioned before me, is that the school year started. Everybody are off to study and naturally won't be online. Besids, you can allways find something intresting in AG, if it's the games or the ppl. B.T.W, I think that AG has a very nice comunity
Well I'm new and I'm pretty active... The community is a really nice place to hang out for random discussions. :3 I don't think they need better advertising, I've seen tons of links to this page.
No, it probably isn't necessary... Not really a spammy subject, but I'm guessing the thread won't live long.
I can't think of anything else they can do to keep users active. If people like the page and have time, they'll keep logging in. If they don't, well... We can't force the site on anyone. I'll stay here for the games, the community and the art battles.
I am pretty sure I have had this question before,tons of times. At times even I get bored but then again,after while so does everyone els I also think there are a few things that could be added such as weekly contests, achievement badges, special rank teams..etc but what are you going to do.
AG is as not quite as active now that most people are fiddling with school and homework or collage. Other than that, we have as many members as ever. Remember, not all AG members go to the community to chat. Most of them stick around playing the flash games which is the main purpose of the site.
Well put, my thoughts exactly.
It's not necessarily getting boring, infact, it's getting more interesting. I mean, the site's been around for a while, yes, but it's still pretty new and we need time for the admins to create and build new things for the users to fiddle with (i.e. Armatars).

People have other things to do and cannot constantly be on AG. I mean, people might be on YouTube, people might be outside and simply checking in at AG for a bit, others might be on X-rated sites! The fact is, users are active as much as they need to be.
And like others have pointed out: school, school, school. On top of that, work, work work. So, time's really crunched. Klaus was right about the waves as well.
