First, I will post the overall rules, and then I will post the specifics about this week.

Original rules, as stated by Ubertuna:

It must fit the week's theme.
It must be submitted by the deadline.
It cannot have inappropriate language in it.
It cannot be stolen (if you plagiarize, we will find you).

Also:

The poem must be created for this contest
A user cannot win two weeks in a row (though everyone is welcome to submit every week!)
Only one submission per user will be accepted

As we all know, the winner will recieve a merit, and their poem will be featured on the _Poetry_ page.

OK, on to this week's topic...Again, we are having a style instead of a theme. Also, this week we are having TWO WEEKS to do it, instead of the usual one. Why? Because this will be an EPIC poem. Or, rather, a parody of an epic poem. Generally, epic poetry is very long, and tells the serious story of a heroic figure. Well, this week, the epic figure is YOU! Write a long poem (I'll leave the definition of 'long' up to you, but give it a good go) about the heroic story of you! It can be silly, serious, whatever... just have fun with it. You have two weeks, so have a great time!

For example:

Inhapatiable deserts
With dust abound
the tint of its ground
Is the color of blood
It is not never but far
Away from are humble abode
And though we have traveled
To our moon we have never
traveled to it.
Rovers have though
And gave us picture too
Now tell me
truthfully
Do you think
Aliens live here?

The end

That really wasnt good but it was just an example.

I dont think so luffi. Here is mine:

Although not the biggest in size,
but considered a prize,
the best one there could be,
full of life and wonderful things to see,
its one planet that bears life,
not children like someone's wife,
atmosphere is the thing that helps,
the planet is the place full of organisms,
living in different types of biomes,

Thats that. What, this is like maybe my second time

Far far away

If we could travel to the end of space
Trying always to keep the same pace
Some would say that there life can be found
But the day we arrived we could hear no sound

Nothing was there only colored dust
We tried to take a sample of that stardust
But that strange thing had something magic
So we decided to leave that place with no logic

Until that day we can only wait to discover
What planets hide and how we can them uncover
We have just to wait time to quickly pass
To see the hidden secrets through the glass

Between

Between the planets I float,
with only my suit and no star boat.
The strong radiations from the sun,
are the most perfect way to stun.

The emptiness of space has one bad thing,
your screams will not be heard by any living thing.
Yet this is the place where all of us will end,
and we ourselves will us there send.

Alone in this place all must be,
no home nor loved ones for us to see.
This is our place and there's no coming back,
because we did not respect the natures pact.

Peace and harmony we will not see,
only pain and torment for us there will be.
This is the cause of our creed and selfishness,
and because we lack the empathy and goodness.

So as long as we continue to live this way,
the empty space between us will stay.
As long as we don't give the sacred oath,
between the planets we must float.

Thank you thank you...this is my poem of the situation we have in the world at the moment. Hope you like it :P and hope it makes you think

By what measurement do you entail,
charged gas, an energy trail.
One large planet embattled with a moon
unbeknown to us, the energy a great boon

Chilling storm rages
throughout the ages
surrounded by sentry, weary guard
broken by not mace or fauchard.

a jealous accessory bestowed
less grand, unknown
what one doesn't know can't hurt
yet still offers no comfort

a clash with a cobbler, many years ago
has left it bruised, less worse for wear although
king of the copycats, it's namesake from
I bet not knowing what I'm talking about makes you feel dumb

So now, I ask
decode this cryptic message, and in eternal light you'll bask!

I'm trying my hand at blank verse with this one.

Dethroned
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.

I was, before, a member of the sun,
Elusively I crept among the edge.
The king of darkness, shrouded by space,
I ruled with my one servant, ferryman,
the rower of the depths of the unknown.
That was until I met my end as king,
When shadowed by my larger kin, I have
Been banishèd, now but a lowly dwarf.
And now, I brood and wait for that one day,
Where I may taste my sweet vindication;
Redeem myself for what is rightfully
Mine.

Eh, No Title

Which planet could I be?
So distant yet close.
3 seconds could be the letal dose,
from the volcanic ash and debris.

I am called Earth's sister,
because of our similar size.
Atmosphere of carbon dioxide,
Just a bit worse than your blister.

I'm named after a Roam goddess.
The goddess of love to be exact.
This is contrary to the fact,
of this planet's harshness.

With the information I supply,
you should know who I am.
No answers full of spam,
but who am I?

Epicness :P

Like a celestial orb,
since I am that they say.
I float around our sun,
Through night and through day.

My land is no longer,
My core made of steel.
Atmospheric pressure so great,
Even Titanic would keel.

I hold Storms so big,
They would swallow the Earth.
Toxic gases surround me,
But volcanoes do not give birth.

I am far away,
Yet nakedly I am seen.
With a moon of two vowels,
I am a prize for the keen.

What am I?
