First, I will post the overall rules, and then I will post the specifics about this week.

Original rules, as stated by Ubertuna:

It must fit the week's theme.
It must be submitted by the deadline.
It cannot have inappropriate language in it.
It cannot be stolen (if you plagiarize, we will find you).

Also:

The poem must be created for this contest
A user cannot win two weeks in a row (though everyone is welcome to submit every week!)
Only one submission per user will be accepted

As we all know, the winner will recieve a merit, and their poem will be featured on the _Poetry_ page.

OK, on to this week's topic...Again, we are having a style instead of a theme. Also, this week we are having TWO WEEKS to do it, instead of the usual one. Why? Because this will be an EPIC poem. Or, rather, a parody of an epic poem. Generally, epic poetry is very long, and tells the serious story of a heroic figure. Well, this week, the epic figure is YOU! Write a long poem (I'll leave the definition of 'long' up to you, but give it a good go) about the heroic story of you! It can be silly, serious, whatever... just have fun with it. You have two weeks, so have a great time!

I am tempted to change the theme to Thyme.
Knock yourself out, Gantic, as long as Cinammon and Cilantro are up there too. xP
Parsat, with your new armatar I keep thinking you're Jess, even though she changed her armatar too. >.<

Tockity! Tick! Tock!
What will we do about this clock?
Broken with a gruesome sound.
Will our help ever be found?

Tockity! Tick! Tock!
Our clock has a sound. Is this a crock?
Look its the gizmo from inside.
I am succumbed with pride.

Stick it in that confounded hole.
To stop this disatrous sound as a whole.
It suddenly stops, and time does too.
The world doesn't end we aren't through.

We can walk to the abis and back.
Without time moving, we never will lack.
This is our time and it will never end.
There is no such thing as a trend.

We are the rulers of this vast place.
Others will slave before us with grace.
If they don't they will die.
Haha, these bitches will cry.

My poem this time around is kind of a joke.

Watching Time Go By

I'm watching my watch go by.

Tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, ...

It's out of batteries!
Now I will watch my clock go by.

Tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, tock , tick, ...

I'm late for work!

The clock is ticking on this very wall,
And on the wall it ticks it seems so small,
But in reality, the wall is vast
And in relation, time shall not move fast

In what dimension does time stop for man?
And why does time itself alone not stand?
What planet does a man sit there and watch
For time to stop the "ticky, ticky, tock"?

It never stops or even thinks to quit
As time itself is full of empty wit
And man shall just ignore the consequence
Of stopping time when it shall not make sense

There is no universe where time exists
In forms that stop and go in every whist
In all way's fairness, time is only one
And man has only enough time to run.

Read this in iambic pentameter.

Days to Decades

Sitting in a cold dark room,
Creeping into uncertain gloom.
Fortune has left me here,
Left to ponder uncertain fear.

But I rest alone, all I want,
All the living, I surely taunt.
At last I am happy, the days are gone,
Always under a perfect lawn.

Six feet under I turn to sand,
This eternal peace I dare say grand.
Meeting our Gods, I rest alone,
My very bones will turn to stone.

Greeting eternity, I sit in reverence,
Paying my love in deep severance.
The months are going into the years,
No more shall I shed my tears.

Living in happiness, quiet but there,
"Come on, my friends," I always dare.
Although I'm happy, I am alone,
Lying on my earthen throne.

Never shall I feel pain,
Never shall I go insane,
I am the ward, the wicked's bane,
Leaving them with nothing to gain.

The years are decades, living forever,
From my friends I mustn't sever.
Fortune fades as I dream on,
Living in peace, time marches on.

No, Moat, the poem is not as dark as it seems. More a light side to a typical dark side.

Time keeps on slipping, slipping, slipping...into the future...

Wait, what? Not original? Okay, I'll try again...

Time goes by, so slowly...

What do you mean? I've never even heard of Madonna. But I'll write another one.

Tik tok on the clock, but the party don't stop, no...

Seriously? I thought for sure that one was mine.

I got nothing.

The Complicated Nature of Time and its Affects on the Human Mind

I went back in time today,
To just a second before.
And saw myself go back in time,
And that was the last thing I saw.

For when I went back in time,
I saw myself flick the switch.
That sent myself back before,
Before I had that hitch.

Back in time I went to halt,
My travel back in time.
For if I went back I would be stuck,
In this endless paradigm.

But I was a moment too late,
Or did I go back too quick?
For I did send myself back,
To see myself go click.

Now I'm trapped in this circle,
of not passing the place,
Where I can free myself from here,
Unless I do break time-space.

I see myself go back in time,
and appear once more.
To see myself go back in time,
And once again use the time door.

Time is now my prison,
I am stuck within this loop.
Hey look a self destruct button.
BEEP! Now I am gloop.

Yes, I know that scientiffically this does not add up because I didn't complete the paradox, but its called creative licence - so SHHHHH...

You can't control it
You can forget it
But it still reminds you that it's there
Tick Tock Tick Tock...
It speeds up when you're having fun
And crawls when you are bored
It's mocking you, laughing at you
Tick Tock Tick Tock...
You could be counting down to the new year
Or laying still, because you can't sleep
Time's whisper will surround you, immobilize you
Tick Tock Tick Tock...
Look in your photo album
And see how powerful time really is
It conceals eternity's memories and answers
Some never to be revealed
Tick Tock Tick Tock...
Wait. What am I doing?
I'm just staring out into space
Listening to time tick by
Tick Tock Tick Tock...
Time will not stop me
from living the best life I can
But the question is,
Will it stop you?
Tick Tock Tick Tock...
Stop.

New Theme: Cinquain. As opposed to the standard theme guideline of being what the poem's about, this time the theme specifies what kind of poem it is. A cinquain is explained rather well here, for those of you who are not familiar with it.
New Deadline: March 1.
Good luck, and thank you to everyone who participated, you all did good!

Yessir, anything at all, just as long as it's a cinquain.

if the theme allows me to write a poem about spongebob, I cant resist that offer.
