First, I will post the overall rules, and then I will post the specifics about this week.

Original rules, as stated by Ubertuna:

It must fit the week's theme.
It must be submitted by the deadline.
It cannot have inappropriate language in it.
It cannot be stolen (if you plagiarize, we will find you).

Also:

The poem must be created for this contest
A user cannot win two weeks in a row (though everyone is welcome to submit every week!)
Only one submission per user will be accepted

As we all know, the winner will recieve a merit, and their poem will be featured on the _Poetry_ page.

OK, on to this week's topic...Again, we are having a style instead of a theme. Also, this week we are having TWO WEEKS to do it, instead of the usual one. Why? Because this will be an EPIC poem. Or, rather, a parody of an epic poem. Generally, epic poetry is very long, and tells the serious story of a heroic figure. Well, this week, the epic figure is YOU! Write a long poem (I'll leave the definition of 'long' up to you, but give it a good go) about the heroic story of you! It can be silly, serious, whatever... just have fun with it. You have two weeks, so have a great time!

Wow, Kingryan. Don't blame me if Shakespeare shows up at your door and gives you a roundhouse kick to the face.

Kingryan:

A moth is not a fly.

Just thought you might like to know that :P

Oh Darnit!

Let me fix that:

A Moth (Revised, 3rd Edition)

A moth did flyest around a head,
that doth belongeth to a horse.

The horse did get quite distressed,
And triedeth to swateth the moth.

But the motheth was to quicketh,
And on the noseth of the horse did it landeth.

So they horse did tryeth to kicketh it,
And knockethed himselfeth outeth.

Ok guys, get ready for EPIC!!!!!!!!!

There once was an annoying moth,
Oh, how it made my mouth foam and froth,
That moth, a satanic creature so,
I do declare, it must go!

I went to the mayor,
I attempted a prayer,
I tried pesticide,
But that moth never died!

Until one day,
When the sky was grey,
An idea starting to from,
And I ceased to morn!

I had a clever cunning scheme,
The most brilliant one to ever be seen,
I Called up some friends from retail,
And we worked on the details.

We built a Large Hadron Collider,
And put the annoying moth inside 'er,
We overloaded the computers,
And then got lunch at hooters.

When we came back,
We all said "Ack!",
For although our vision was keen,
The annoying moth was nowhere to be seen.

Instead there was a black hole.
And we all died.
So yeah.
The end.
...

... Randomness of doom (I'm gonna sing the doom song now. Doom doom...):

Furred little Lepidoptera
Born for the night
Seeing things only those who rest at day can see
Living less than long when finally grown
But longer than Mayflies
Those who live and dies.

The Lantern

Flitter and fly little moth,
Spread thy wings little moth,
You see the ethereal guidance,
The light in the distance,
To which you glide

Hover delicately little moth,
Sail on the wind little moth,
Your destination awaits,
The glow ahead is yours,
Illuminating the path obscured

Avoid darkness little moth,
Just ahead little moth,
The scintilla shines,
Beckons, calls forth,
Flap towards it!

Aren't we all little moths?
We struggle vainly,
Flitting on fragile wings,
To reach the light,
Our Hope.

I hope this isn't too late...
