First, I will post the overall rules, and then I will post the specifics about this week.
Original rules, as stated by Ubertuna:
It must fit the week's theme. It must be submitted by the deadline. It cannot have inappropriate language in it. It cannot be stolen (if you plagiarize, we will find you).
Also:
The poem must be created for this contest A user cannot win two weeks in a row (though everyone is welcome to submit every week!) Only one submission per user will be accepted
As we all know, the winner will recieve a merit, and their poem will be featured on the _Poetry_ page.
OK, on to this week's topic...Again, we are having a style instead of a theme. Also, this week we are having TWO WEEKS to do it, instead of the usual one. Why? Because this will be an EPIC poem. Or, rather, a parody of an epic poem. Generally, epic poetry is very long, and tells the serious story of a heroic figure. Well, this week, the epic figure is YOU! Write a long poem (I'll leave the definition of 'long' up to you, but give it a good go) about the heroic story of you! It can be silly, serious, whatever... just have fun with it. You have two weeks, so have a great time!
life is so beautiful, it is as soft as wool, dont think of life as a silly game, make it so that you dont die with shame,
its so beau..... beautiful, i like to see it that way, when the night comes down and the breeze is cool, its like there is something life wants to sayyyyyyyyy,
does it have to be like a joke, spending it on smoke, its the way we want to live, even if there is little we can give,
the life is meaningless, if you dont use it right, so i say to you to make it the best, so i say to you to make it the best, so i sayyyyyyyyyyyyy to youuuuuuuuu to make it the besttttttttttttttttttt
Cowards die many times before their death, the valient never taste death but once. Of all the things that I have heard, it seems strange to me that men should fear, seeing that death a neccessary end will come when it will come

UMMM most definitely the play Julius Caesar.... total rip off of Shakespeare mate. My english teacher would eat you alive.
Okay now this is my poem submission. It's kinda funny especially since I haven't had trouble with my homework since the fourth grade =). This is the definitive works of "long poem" lol. Theme: HOMEWORK!!!!! O Great Guy In The Sky When I last opened my lids(woke up: meaning yesterday) There were mountains of homework for kids Homework O homework, the pupil's sole bane(bane: fear, dread) But we do it, for honest we remain But now O great guy I find myself lost I'm tired of being told what to do and bossed. In the mountains of homework I am buried And now I ask you, how will I escape: I cannot be carried So help a guy out once in a while You don't even have to do it in style Just give me answers: my brain is all blank And now even chocolate tastes rank(rank: sour, bad) And I'm lost in the depths of society The school system, it's notoriety(notoriety:notorious, infamous) I am kind, and I am strong On my homework I've slaved all day long But I just can't do it, so here's my request Help a guy out, because you? You're the best I'm gonna do it if I can But last month I began It's still not done, and I need to run Because on Monday it's due And it's Saturday night, and I'm still stuck in the goo O hey the Great Guy In Sky you're the coolest! You helped me out, and now I'm not clueless And so, back to school this hero goes For next week's homework Oh no, oh no
Hmmm...well having read the finished works I am disappointed, but I already did it so no use letting it go to waste...might as well submit it. It's not gonna win though, not with the competition its got. =(
