I doubt many people would be happy just to throw it away. I dont understand some of your points due to spelling mistakes (no offense =/)
also many people have had it repaired (including me a week ago)and is now working fine, with all data on it which is stored in the hard drive, where no problems exist.

I had the rings on my 360, it wiped nothing off my hard drive. The 360 just died out on me, so Microsoft just replaced it for me.

-No, infact the red ring of death is caused by your Xbox from over heating.
makes it not work i had it it wipes off all ur memory

-Sure it can still work, you just got to send it in and get it fixed, or a replacement unit.
-It also does not! Get rid of any Data.
I HIGHLY reccomend not fixing the xbox just throw

-Wrong, the simple thing to do is call Microsoft, and tell them about the issue. They will send you a box in UPS to send back to them for a fixing, or for a replacement unit even if your warenty is expired.
-Do not!, I repeat...Do NOT! Throw your X-box away, not only is this dumb cause you can get it replaced, it also has harmful things in it which is bad for the environment.
after red ring of death the xbox barely ether works

-Yes, in fact you can do an old trick with towels to make it work better for a little bit. Also, just send it in.
i still have my xbox i dont play it cos it dont work

-That my sir, is because you have very little common sense(no offense), but why would you waste a product like that? Just send it in!

Also, bare in mind an X-box 360 is a cheaply made system that is well known for it's over-heating. Most likely any gamer with a 360 will experience this tragedy once in awhile.

I myself, infact, have got the ring of death. It was scary because I had a game I rented in their. All I did is called Microsoft, and though I was on the phone for a good half n' hour, and my warrenty was expired, they still sent me the items needed to ship in my Xbox. About 5 weeks later(Avg. is 3-8 weeks roughly), I got a brand new Xbox because Microsoft couldn't figure out how to fix it.

Just go onto Microsoft's website to find out their contact info about how to get ahold of them. You will go through some simple, but long procedures on the quest of getting a new Xbox.

Hope this clears up some confusion.

*sigh* here we go again. The red ring does not wipe out your memory, you can still get it replaced and back in just over a week and I should know all this because it happened to me and I woulnd't just have it lying around or thrown away. I would do the smart thing. Get it replaced free of charge.
