I am a Democrat. I believe in most of what the Democrats believe and what we stand for. However, I want to hear what my fellow gamers have to say about it.

Bah, I don't believe in Democrats, but all parties have changed so I would say the base is very different.

Neo democratics though are my preference now.
Neo republicans.

It's actually a common term and reference, google it.

It's essentially where the parties traded platforms.

Ugh... Politics. Can't live with them. Can't live without them.

I for one am Republican. I believe both parties are flaws. We should make a party with all the good things of both parties in it.

Until the day I see that these guys promise to do what they promise, I refuse to go with either party. Politics get on my nerves...

@total,

That would not work. The parties oppose each others ideas. The "good" things of a party are debateable.

And a mix of it doesn't mean its any better. I can choose between a $10 bill or none. Going with the middle and picking $5 won't do me any good.

Its one way or the other.

Btw, politics are great.

I'm a libertarian, though no longer a member of the part.

I, being a democrat, get sick at thinking of someone like McCain getting office. The things he believes in, like fighting a war that we don't belong in that is destroying not only our global reputation, but our economy as well (think of what we could do with those TRILLIONS of dollars!), and also just lifting American oil drilling bans rather than find the permanent solution, really get to me. However, I know people that think the same way about Obama, so with the diversity of people and opinions, there will never be a "one party" with all the good stuff. Most people think their side is that one party. But if McCain wins, I'm moving to Europe for sure...

I myself being a Democrat, would have to go with Obama all the way. McCain actually want's to follow some of Bush's policies for another 8 years (if elected for 2 terms.)

This is what I see, the Republicans believe in a free market economy and derailment. Hence the housing crisis. My question to you, the members of the Republican party here on this site, why would we want to stay in this poor conditioned economy for another 8 years with a record breaking National Debt?

@ Drace

Hey man that's actually gman1000, not TotalReview. (If thats what you meant). LOL!

The words Democrat and Republican simplify too much. One person could have views associated with both parties and call themselves democrat or republican.

Well, I won't even start into this, because as Rush Limbaugh says:

I'm an American first,
a Conservative second,
and a Republican third.

Everytime you mention Rush I'm going to say this: Rush Limbaugh is an ignorant, pill popping, propoganda swilling, moron, and you must be too if you like him.

I have to ask you something:

Where does your alleigance lie?

Personally, I rank here:
1) American
2) Conservative(Libertarian-leaning if you want to get technical)
3) Son
4) Black Belt

I don't think Republican makes the list...

Five billion dollars wouldn't do you any good? It'd sure do me a ton of good, but hey, to each their own. If you ever get it and don't want it though, send it my way.

Democrat here, pure and simple. I love me some Obama, and can't wait 'till next January! It'll be the best birthday present ever!
