my name's jason but when we were kids my li'l sis pronounced it as "jahson" so it kinda' stuck with me...i put the "x" at the end to make it sound somehow cool just like the name of that big blade wielding horror flick character!
Y'see.... Back in the mists of time, when I used to play Maple Story. I decided to join an IRC room that fans had created. Lacking a suitable name (I went by Xchron back then) - I NEEDED a good name, that could be used in that IRC and around the growing, pulsating mass that is the interwebz. I spent a while searching for the name that felt just right when I found the name Avorne - the Slavic word for Maple tree. Me (being the genius that I am) decided Maple tree + Maple story = Maple. Maple = Avorne and Avorne = My new name!
And that is the epic, epic ballad of how Avorne came into being. Of course, I could tell you about the incident with the dyslexic badger and the conjoined porcupines... But I won't bore you with that.
But, he got it when we were registering for Rakion Online. We were in a internet cafe. Beside us, there was a huge sign that said "No Shouting, No Gambling, No Porn Sites"
"nopornsites" sounded stupid and "nogambling" just didn't sound good. So he chose "noshouting".
It sounded cool so a year after he stopped using it. I claimed it.
at first i called me Munchkin like the card game but beacause my friends always misspelled it as Much-kin or in german MATSCH-kin (matsch is the german word for mud or dirt)so i changed its writing into the way its actually called so i came to mantsch-kin
the artikel THE mantschkin came from online games where i used to call me the amazing mantschkin (like the amazing spiderman) but as this name is too long for some games i only use themantschkin now
People in my school started calling me leet in the 3rd grade, I didn't know what it meant so I looked it up.
but it was cool in the 3rd grade ¬_¬
not hating in any particular way but doesnt it seem a bit juvenile? idk
every single person who I've seen that has "1337" in there name I always wince, because honestly it was only cool back in 1999. when I WAS in 3rd grade. w/e though your decision
(most commonly 1337 bit often also leetspeak, leetspeek, or l33t) from the phonetic form of the word "elite"
it's what hackers used to do to communicate with each other since the government tried to track em. because back in the day credit card/ personal computers were extremely easy to hack and the government began to crack down. also hacker subculture was basically created with the dot com boom and runs really deep which is why they like to think of themselves as sort of a "floating country" of sorts.
DDX
my name is not a face.
stands for delusional democracy. it was created the day bush took office and al gore ran for presidency. in my opinion. neither one should have been able to run. i mean bush is just such a SMART guy. and al gore is like GUIZE im thuper cool with my man bear pig who is half man half bear and half pig. think about it.
anyway I stuck on the X which is roman numeral for 10. that number held an extreme significance to me as alphanumerically I was number 10 in my water polo team.
