Death penalty... Hmm... I don't think I would. Lifetime prison and torture, maybe, but not death. It is easier to punish those who are alive. (Btw, I have my own worlds, fantasy settings... Wouldn't bring torture up again in our society, but in the medieval settings it's rather suitable.)
that's Tough but i know in cuba they don't try you. they send a group of people called the Death Squad.
i would do the same thing as zophia.. But first he/she would be dipped in hot lava pulled back out. Then,I would tell everyone to throw glass at him/her. Then,he/she would be thrown in anartica for 2 days. Finally,he/she face 100,000,000 carnivors.
I'm for the death penalty, as long as it's done humanely as possible (Ironic as that is). I think that the process should be sped up as well, and before the person is sentenced, evidence should be re-examined and they should be re-tried in front of a judge. Lately, there have been too many convictions proven wrong by DNA evidence. People have spent decades on Death Row because they were wrongly convicted.
Isn't it cheaper to put someone to death than to keep them in prision for the rest of their lives (if under a certain age)
It is, but they often end up waiting up to 15 years just to get killed. Prison isn't as bad as people make it out to be, apparently. They get cable, exercise time, a library, 3 square meals. And it's all coming out of our money.
