Odd Thomas. The story of a young man with a 6th sense, a job as a short order cook, and a soul mate names Stormy Llewellyn. Normally, silent apparitions look to Odd for their murders to be solved, lost souls caught between our world and heaven/ hell. This time, a mysterious man with an amazing appetite, followed by a horde of shady figures drawn to disaster, Odd has to solve this mystery and stop the hell about to be released on the small Town of Pico Mundo.
Review:
Odd Thomas is truly a story for the ages, a true classic for all ages. Filled with action, suspense, romance, and witty humor, Odd Thomas ranks among Dean Koontz's best sellers.

Story:
9/10: This is, in general, an amazing story. The only problem I have is the fact that the hero, Odd Thomas, seems to be perfect, neither a drinker, smoker, and frequently reminds the reader that he's a virgin.

Description: 9.5/10: This is one of the book's best feature. Every page I read, I can really see myself following behind Odd as he travels through Pico Mundo is desperation.

Suspense: 8/10: Most of this book will keep you on the edge of your seat, waiting for more, but there are a few parts that go rather slow. Stop reading at these

Humor: 9/10: Dean Koontz portrays a level of dark humor in Odd Thomas's narration, throwing in a one line or a play on words at even the darkest situations. And, the fact that he actually makes it work is simply another reason to pick up this book.

Violence: This book definitely has some violent, gruesomely described scenes, but it could be much worse. organs aren't brought into these descriptons, keeping it a bit clean.

Sexual References: Low. Thoguh there are some quips about sex and a few minor things in it, Odd Thomas is mostly a clean book. No sex in it.

Difficulty: I heard a few words I didn't know, but other than that, Odd Thomas is kept simple for the less educated minds.

Overall: 9/10
Definitely a book you'd want to pick up at your local library, even one to buy. At a price of 7.99, Odd Thomas is a must own for any fans of horror, thrillers, action, or just someone looking to get into reading. Trust me when I tell you, you'll LOVE it.

I know. This has gotta be one of the best books I've ever read.
And I thoguht The Vision was good by him. xD
Took me a month to start it, cause the back looked boring...
never judge a book by its cover, right?
