360, graphics on ps3 or horribly over exagerated, look at halo and gears! ps3s perform worse. There isnt any good games for the ps3 that arent already on the 360.

Dude you can't be serious ps3's are new that's why the 360's have almost all the games the ps3 has

I agree even if I don't own both I have tired both and I didn't like the ps3 no games,no creativity. They hasn't been 1 single good game for the ps3 since it came out for me and that's pretty sad I hated the old xbox but at least it had some games but ps3...nothing metal gear solid sucks and I don't like watching movies while I play games. Xbox has better online anyway more people for 5 dollars a month and better performance. Xbox arcade is goodly. PSN is just an rip off. Not to mention ps3 was just released to shove blueray into the market.

You'll hear "PS3 rocks" and "Xbox 306 is the best", but what it really comes down to is the Xbox 360 has it's flaws, but it's also got it's perfectioned parts. Same goes for the PS3.

Most people who say "Xbox 360 sucks" are people who have never even played it. Same goes for people who say that the PS3 sucks. I personally have a Xbox 360, and I think it's very good. I've never played a PS3, and I don't plan to, either. Xbox 360 has some sweet games, while PS3 does too. PS3 has very little games that spark my interest, and Xbox 360 has had hundreds that spark my interest. Such games are: Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, Fallout 3, Fable 2, and the list can go on forever.

What I'm trying to say is there's PS3 fanboys, and there's Xbox 360 fanboys, and then there's gamers. Gamers don't care which is better, but what games come out for that system. I personally think that the Xbox 360 is superior, but then some others think the PS3 is better. But gamers, my friend, gamers don't care which console they think is better, only which games come out for that system.

I, am a gamer, and I don't care which is better, because there will always be a better game coming out for either console.

I prefer the 360 because it's cheaper, and has some sweet games so far.

I own both of them, and have to say that if my house were on fire and I only had time to grab one of them, I wouldn't even hesitate to snatch my 360.

The 360 just brings so much more to the table than the PS3 does. Yeah, you can argue that the PS3 has "better hardware" which theoretically allows for "better graphics", but my feeble human eyeballs can hardly see a difference when I play them on my 40" 1080i Samsung LCD.

Aside from the fact that the 360 has a selection of games that makes epic sexytime with the meager PS3 choices, the 360 has Achievements and, more importantly, Gamerscore. If I have to choose between playing a new game on my 360 and my PS3, I will pick the 360 every time just because of that.

It's human nature, honestly, and it was a brilliant play by Microsoft. They are appealing to our "I'm better than you, here's how I can prove it" tendencies. I know, of course, that the amount of Gamerscore doesn't mean ANYTHING when it comes to how good you are at a game, it simply shows how much time you're willing to devote to playing it, but it doesn't give us a tangible, visible, and easily displayable way to show off our gaming prowess.

360 is definately better. Everyone says the graphics are better on the PS3 but that just depends on the game not the system. Also the games that the 360 has and the PS3 doesn't are awesome. (halo 3, gears of war you know what i'm talking about) It also seems like the 360 has more features that just make playing it more enjoyable

I really don't know if people really think about it on these questions.

A) the PS3 cost more initially. But free online play, built in wireless, larger HDD, recharable controlers(no batteries or battery packs), and automatic DVD, HD-DVD and Blu-ray support basically beat out the 360 in that sense. To match the two up, you spend more 'upgrading' your 360.

B) the PS3 has much better specs. The PS3 supports 1080p, which is the highest console resolution available. Higher resolution = better picture quality. The PS3 also is a faster system. Honestly, don't sit down and go, well my 360 is fast, and it looks great, and those trailers of the PS3 weren't as good so 360 all the way. Until you play on both systems, on the same t.v. and try the same games, you don't actually know.

C) Sure, people go, halo is only on 360, so the 360 is the best. The PS3 actually can play a heck of a lot more games. PS1 + PS2 + PS3 games(and PS1 and PS2 games are upscaled to HD). The 360 isn't quite compatible with all the old XBOX games. And a particular game is a preference, and not so much a judgement on the system. There are games that are only for the PS3 as well(metal gear, Final Fantasy, Racthet and Clank, Haze, etc.). So this isn't even much of a measurement.

D) Did we also forget about potential? The PS3 uses blu-ray disc, which can hold 25 Gb of data(and 50 Gb on dual-layer disc(which no, have no been implemented)). The 360 uses DVDs that cap out at 9 Gb. So, of course, more content and things like higher definition can be included in a PS3 game or PS3 version of a game. Also, Home is actually coming out(or going to be available) this year(nov.) which essentially is like second-life on the PS3. And of course, is free. Plus you can install(with no tools other than the PS3 built-in defaults) linux on a PS3, and some go, "why?". it is called potential. To be able to run your own things on the PS3 by default. To allow it to be expanded past Sony's goals. There are plenty of things about the PS3 that will continue to grow. Developers still have not pushed the PS3 and all of its limits(as this of course takes more time and money for them to do so).

I'll stop with just that and hopefully people will not only research, but actually give both systems a shot and then make a real comparison.

I vote PS3(obviously).

Oh, and don't get me wrong, the 360 is great. I played one of those before I touched a PS3. But we are comparing, so I must state which one I think is better. The 360 gets a 8/10 and the PS3 a 9/10(gotta leave room for the next big thing).
