For those of you who say I "Try to be funny" it's not like I sit there for a really long time trying to think of something funny to say. If If I think of something funny to say while reading a post, I'll say it, but if I don't have something funny to say, I won't sit there until I think of something funny to say. I have, in fact, made quite a few serious posts. if you're funny without trying to be funny, that makes you an idiot, that doesn't make you funny.
