There's a snake hiding in the bushes. Get Liam to tie the snake to the root while the snake is distracted by the nearest pendulum swinging from the tree. Attract the tree bunny with one of the sap secretions, and then get the snake's attention with the other. The snake will pull up the root with Reemus along with it.
Scene two: How to construct a catapult.
There's a broken flag on the ground. Attach the flag to the tree and use the flag post to chip the green rock out of the well. Stick the post in the dirt and hook the flag around it. Set the rock in the catapult and let it fly. The bell's rope can then be attached to the still-standing flag post.
Scene three: Bottom of the well.
Be quick about clicking on the fish when it jumps. The big alien fish (I say alien because it seems to be a definite nod toward The Visitor) will eat it, and this will make the plant open up for some reason. Get the plant to hang down and get the alien fish to grab onto it by clicking the jumping fish again. This will allow you to slide on down the waterfall. Attach the tooth to the vine and use it to connect the bucket to the alien fish. Then get the plant eaters to chew the plant off and let the alien fish pull the bucket down so you can climb in.
Scene four: Opening the door.
Disassemble the wagon and stick the axel in the wall and put the wheel over it. Use the hatchet on the well so you can take the chain and wrap it around the wheel. Use the hatchet to unbar the door and use the chain to pull it open.
Scene five: Hiding.
How do you get the chicken down? Pour chicken feed on the ground! What a concept. The wolf will nab it, but you need to get the wolf to come back by throwing one of the dead chickens out onto the ground. Once the wolf is in place, pull the laundry over and drop it on the wolf's head. Then tie the rope around its tail. You're then free to remove the barricade and get inside.
Scene six: The blacksmith.
You're actually not in the blacksmith's yet, so you gotta go through the door. This is fairly straightforward blacksmith work. Put the sword in the fire and hammer it nicely. Get the grindstone spinning and sharpen the sword. Use the sword to slice the lamp off the wall. Break the point off the spear with the clamp, and wax up the spear shaft. Then attach the hook to the shaft, and you've got a gaff!
Scene seven: Weird lock.
After opening the trap door, take a look at the lock. The answer is carved on the wood, and no, Eveyn is not the answer. The crow flies at red dawn. There are three wheels to adjust. Adjust them so that the crow, the color red, and the half sun (not the half moon) are all at the top. Then pull the lever. Take the rope and get out of there!
Scene eight: The giant flying mouse.
Trap the mouse by putting some jam on a bit of cheese and tossing it on the floor. Now to experiment on it. You'll find a bottle of cauldron starter behind the box on the shelf. No, don't pour it in your ear, pour it in the cauldron! Get the mixing spoon from the birdcage, and mix yellow and blue to make green, and feed it to the mouse. Then mix red and blue, and you've got a giant flying mouse. You're done!
Scene eight: The giant bird.
For some reason, this ending is much harder to get, but not nearly as cool as the flying mouse. After beating the game, replay scene eight. Set the bird free, get the cauldron going, mix blue and red, and feed it to the flower. Attach some cheese to the switch on the wall, and feed some green potion to the mouse. Cook the noodles in the cauldron to make some rope. Mix red and yellow to make orange and feed that to the flower. With the rope and the popcorn, you've got a bird trap. Nab that bird, feed it some purple potion, and you're off!
lolthang i did everything for the alternate ending (bird) but i traped the mouse with cheese instead of gettin the nodles note: i already had the popcorn
I was worried that people would complain about all the gaps in my directions. My idea was that I wouldn't explain everything that was readily obvious and easy to figure out, so I could keep it shorter that way. It looks like people were able to use their brains, which is good.
Just for kicks, I wrote the walkthrough completely from memory without once going back to the game to check something =P
