This is a spin-off of the original GFX Art Battle, but with some updated rules and changes. Please make sure to read the rules before entering, since they have been modified. Good luck, we look forward to seeing some creative artistic entries!
Competition Rules 1. Must be hand drawn, either on paper or in a program. It can then be manipulated in an graphics program. But unoriginal artwork cannot be used as the main focus. Copyrighted images cannot be used. All pieces containing copyrighted images will be disqualified. 2. Submissions must follow the current theme that has been chosen by a moderator for that week. If you submit more than one piece, please clarify which one you would like to be judged. 3. If your image is larger than 600 pixels wide, please provide a link to the image instead of posting it in the forum. Otherwise, the image will be cut off. 4. Artists cannot win in subsequent weeks. You can still submit, but if you won the week before, you cannot get first place again the next week. 5. After the deadline, a moderator will pick the winner, and they will be awarded a 25 AP award.
typically something you relate to hearts.I might use the other use of the term heart which would be for the actual internal organ of any creature.Knowing you though I thought you were probably aiming towards some type of valentines day type hearts or something like that, bit now that I think about it.Your one of the few people on here I shouldn't assume anything by for the fact that you don't seem to think in a similar pattern everyday like most others I have met on AG.Either way it was an assumption and also I don't know if it really matters all that much, but either way I shall create whatever come to mind as I am drawing it up.

O_o;;;
Hearts are two things to me. Two things and their opposites. Two things I find rather essential to existence... But don't think using the organ is taking advantage of a loophole. I have thought this theme through, and other than Gantic I think no one will make me go WTF at their entry... (Gantic has an advantage because of his abstract way of conveying things, which I kind of think this theme invites to...)

Indeed. :P

Good plan~
I look forward to judging this. I'm also curious about how many makes a "girly" entry.
But don't think using the organ is taking advantage of a loophole
and I never said it was,but another idea popped into my head since then and so those two statements shouldn't intertwine.Still Gantic always seems to do that, but anyways my entry s complete.I'm not so sure if it will be funny or not,but lets find out.
Expectations lead to disappointment, eventually. Hearts mean much more than two things, although it all collapses down to the same themes. And I'm sure many will not understand if I drew a picture of a beam shot through the center of the Moon, distorting it along its path... Math, science, and pun! and some non sciencey stuff.
There are some rather "artistic" representations of love and hearts that might fit this theme nicely, and not pink, red, and white kind, but the ones with many meanings unfortunately have been done before. (Ring heart shadow and heart of mating swans comes to mind.) But I'm not sure what to do yet, unless I want to destroy the moon.
I knows, there's just two main things they mean to me, be it organs or symbols.

Nope, I wouldn't get it. Then again, is art meant to be understood...
Actually, that is quite funny, especially because of the expressions
yeah it seems creating facial expressions is my specialty huh?Anyways Gantic I'm sure we could get a crack team of detectives professors, archeologists, ninjas, and that guy from national treasure that could be used to decipher your submission. After that it would be fine.Although I'm not so sure where I would get a team like that.

With abstract expressionism, who knows?
A murder-suicide involving Luna, two other people, and her obsessed stalker would be about the same, although a little harder to connect the pun. And it would also bend the rules so far as to break them.
'Hearts' is also a card game.
*pulls out a piece of rice paper and mother's calligraphy kit* jk. I'm not gonna use either of those XD.
That reminds me. I've been meaning to do a submission involving calligraphy on rice paper, but unfortunately, I don't have the time.
