This is a spin-off of the original GFX Art Battle, but with some updated rules and changes. Please make sure to read the rules before entering, since they have been modified. Good luck, we look forward to seeing some creative artistic entries!
Competition Rules 1. Must be hand drawn, either on paper or in a program. It can then be manipulated in an graphics program. But unoriginal artwork cannot be used as the main focus. If you submit more than one piece, please clarify which one you would like to be judged. 3. If your image is larger than 600 pixels wide, please provide a link to the image instead of posting it in the forum. Otherwise, the image will be cut off. 4. Artists cannot win in subsequent weeks. You can still submit, but if you won the week before, you cannot get first place again the next week. 5. After the deadline, a moderator will pick the winner, and they will be awarded a 25 AP award.
It's a small little object that stays in the middle of the heart of a Rax. Rax are large creatures which live with the homeworld. Hunters collect the small crystals, and one had just been dared to eat it, and the following crap occured. So then they tested people of their village, the strongest of the strong, and when 1 had survived (the first Nergyl Elder), they just kinda waited for him to die, but he didn't.
That would suck if your lifeline was only an hour longer. "Yeai! Gonna live forever!!" A hundred hours later, you die.
lol, that would be funny, wouldn't it? But I used it as a metaphor of sorts. It's another life support, as it places itself inside your heart. The longest living Elder is Rik-tok-until (Rick-tock-oontill), who has lived for 1408 years.
mine are somewhere near there, but they normally die from war before that happens.
Actually happened a lot before Kai got back (yes he stopped the war, and so what? He was nearly married to a princess!!) SO basic facts: Lives for around 200 years, reaches puberty twice, height is about 2.30-2.40 meters, and their hair changes colour throughout their lives, starting with black and becomming lighter (into the different haircolours) meaning that (royalty) goes from black, into dark red, bright red, bronze and almost white.
Back on topic I thinkies...because I think this fits more in the MWT thread
It is just, okay, not culture, but biology? But not the MWT as we are talking species, not characters. But yes. Sururrians have no real holidays or days of celebration, only when the frost comes with years between they are holding traditions of not working at all, and other things.
(yes he stopped the war, and so what? He was nearly married to a princess!!)
The Nergyl Child slaughtered his entire colony, with no regret either. But this isn't a time to be boasting about our Original Species/Original Characters. Besides, it's pissing me off a little bit. P.S. If you read the Golden Age miniature editorial I made in my art thread way back when, you would know that the Nergyl were made impassionate, spiteful, and evil by god. Because they wanted to start the wars for what they thought it would be for a greater good. War began just about everywhere, and won't end until the Great Rebirth. P.P.S. Shouldn't we make a thread about species in general (you should make it, since you pwn me in every aspect of art whatsoever) P.P.P.S. There are no Nergyl holidays, except for the elder try outs, which is what the Briktuk tries. Great Rebirth projected date - 1634 hours September 3189
Ok, so I just tried to say dwwrwaaaaaaarrw and started laughing very hard. One reason is I was stupid enough to say it out loud, and another at the ridiculous sound it is.
hmm I accomplished something I didn't even know was possible.I created a theme that was so broad that someone(cholokid) figured out a way to make an argument for it being basically a free draw.I could argue against it,but I really have no reason to,since making a broad theme was my agenda in the first place.
