This is a spin-off of the original GFX Art Battle, but with some updated rules and changes. Please make sure to read the rules before entering, since they have been modified. Good luck, we look forward to seeing some creative artistic entries!
Competition Rules 1. Must be hand drawn, either on paper or in a program. It can then be manipulated in an graphics program. But unoriginal artwork cannot be used as the main focus. Copyrighted images cannot be used. All pieces containing copyrighted images will be disqualified. 2. Submissions must follow the current theme that has been chosen by a moderator for that week. If you submit more than one piece, please clarify which one you would like to be judged. 3. If your image is larger than 600 pixels wide, please provide a link to the image instead of posting it in the forum. Otherwise, the image will be cut off. 4. Artists cannot win in subsequent weeks. You can still submit, but if you won the week before, you cannot get first place again the next week. 5. After the deadline, a moderator will pick the winner, and they will be awarded a 25 AP award.
And it would be nice with some resizing as mentioned in the judging. Please make it fit the screen so we can see the entire picture without scrolling of opening a new tab.

Adding: Because it really isn't necessary for that pic to be that huge in order to retain it's value. At least provide a small-view option?
... Actually I know a lot of famous things/characters, but IRL celebrities: no. I do know Superman and quite a few other comic book characters, though. XD
Oh, ok. --------------
I think I might have to explain some of the details in my entry, 'cause it's resized and a bit hard to read some stuff.
The bulding that Super-old-Man is flying out of has the letters SHRH above the door, which stand for Super Hero Retirement Home. If you cant read the text on the road sign, it says Next Rest Stop 20 mi. The sign next to the SHRH door is a handi-cap sign, and there was a ramp under the door, but I think it got cut off.
Well I never finished my entry for last weeks competition. I have to admit, it's sometimes pretty hard to come up with a concept and finish it rather quickly. I normally take WEEKS on a piece. (Yeah, I can be a bit of a perfectionist!)
I did, however, get something done for this week! Celebrities. Made me think of the red carpet, so here's my piece, entitled none other than Red Carpet! Its not meant to be any particular person, just some lovely lady on the carpet.
