wtf...I didn't even see this page when I posted that last comment.I was referring to the entry made by jaza_m on the last page. For a second there I thought I had gotten ninja'd 4 times or something, but no I checked the times and I just assumed that the page before this was the last page or something....its sad but this isn't the first time I have done that either.
OK,after a couple of new ideas popped into my head.I decided to try again with my entry.I decided to make a completely new one which I don't believe I have ever remade my entry for this contest before, but anyways this is my first one using layers, and I thought I would bring back the original WTF face.As a note this is sort of a sequel to my original entry. So enjoy my new official entry
Crimson by the looks of the pepper you use Gimp. This question is totally unrealated how do you make stuff fuzzy like the bear. Nice job i don't quite understand what is going on though.
I actually use Photo Shop, and this time I imported the Bell Pepper.A while back I made the pepper as an image on my computer with a transparent back ground. So using Photo Shop I just dragged and dropped it into my image, and added am adjustment layer to it,to make it a bit brighter. The fur is a bit more complicated to explain.Pretty much what I did was I made a preset in Photo Shop for what is known as the confetti brush in GIMP(which somehow is also in Photo Shop) and added some effects to it.I can't say off the top of my head what they are,but later I could look at it.Although I am not sure how much it could help you if you don't have Photo Shop.
Nice job i don't quite understand what is going on though.
Hmm I just noticed that part.I am now compelled to tell you whats going on.If you look back to page 316.That was the original entry of mine. This is a sequel to that entry. That one was a joke based on the "the cake is a lie" thing from the original portal game.In this one Sasquatch my character(He is not a bear...)see's the spoon on the other side of a portal, and is commenting about it.The bell pepper was just added in as a random joke.
hmm you used a special filter for that didn't you?I found a filter on GIMP once by accident that can make an effect that looks a bit like that.I have to say it looks nice.
No i made the circles. Then filled the centers with white. Then i took the smudge tool and went crazy. If you can't figure out what the gray thing is its a spoon. I tried to make a hand about to go between the portals but it came out bad.
hmm smudge tool...makes sense I guess.I used the smudge tool with my portal after all.I knew the grey thing was the spoon though,and....in fact you pretty much made your portals the same way I made mine....interesting.
The original photo came from here and if Strop or Zophia or whatever mod doesn't like that then I'll just go out and buy a box to take a picture of. lol Except I'm a cheapskate and don't really feel like doing that.
