Hello and welcome!

This is a spin-off of the original GFX Art Battle, but with some updated rules and changes. Please make sure to read the rules before entering, since they have been modified. Good luck, we look forward to seeing some creative artistic entries!

Competition Rules
1. Must be hand drawn, either on paper or in a program. It can then be manipulated in an graphics program. But unoriginal artwork cannot be used as the main focus. Copyrighted images cannot be used. All pieces containing copyrighted images will be disqualified.
2. Submissions must follow the current theme that has been chosen by a moderator for that week. If you submit more than one piece, please clarify which one you would like to be judged.
3. If your image is larger than 600 pixels wide, please provide a link to the image instead of posting it in the forum. Otherwise, the image will be cut off.
4. Artists cannot win in subsequent weeks. You can still submit, but if you won the week before, you cannot get first place again the next week.
5. After the deadline, a moderator will pick the winner, and they will be awarded a 25 AP award.

OK, suppose I'm done with this weeks entry.I can't say I was too creative with the theme,but I decided this would be a good time to fiddle with some more effects especially for the grass and that came out nice and I overhauled a few coloring effects to make it quite brightly colored.Anyways here it is...

The Rhino Penguin Pepper?

I really couldn't think of anything to connect penguins and rhinos so I just portrayed that in my pic. Note that it is actually 2 images, the text follows on directly from the first as I wasnt able to fit it all in. I am not sure what the rules are about that, but hey here it is. If it's accepted, then fine, if not, so be it.

well seeing as how I submitted whole comic strips before I doubt the amount of images is going to be an issue.Also Cholokid thats an interesting image....what happened to photo shop though?

Ah, yes, that is why my images suddenly... crapatized me captain? I've decided not to use photoshop until I receive my tablet. I can make images quite a lot quicker with paint, even if they are worse. I enjoy paint. ^^

hmm alright then well I look forward to seeing when you get the tablet then...as my eyes will no longer be tortured by paint.I used paint for awhile,but I personally dislike it.I would spend probably an hour on there trying to do something I could do within a few minutes in photo shop....I think I've become spoiled by the program by this point,especially after figuring out how to edit brush effects....

Cheers. Due to your paper mario comments about my last one I was thinking of making a picture pretty much based on that, but I don't think there were any rhinos in the game. Ahh well.

And if you make a 1440 by 900 version, I will make it my background

Lol okay. This could turn into an interesting project. I'll see what I can come up with. I just hope there are decent battle pics on google images cos I have absolutely no clue what they are like. I'll give it a go though.
