This is a spin-off of the original GFX Art Battle, but with some updated rules and changes. Please make sure to read the rules before entering, since they have been modified. Good luck, we look forward to seeing some creative artistic entries!
Competition Rules 1. Must be hand drawn, either on paper or in a program. It can then be manipulated in an graphics program. But unoriginal artwork cannot be used as the main focus. Copyrighted images cannot be used. All pieces containing copyrighted images will be disqualified. 2. Submissions must follow the current theme that has been chosen by a moderator for that week. If you submit more than one piece, please clarify which one you would like to be judged. 3. If your image is larger than 600 pixels wide, please provide a link to the image instead of posting it in the forum. Otherwise, the image will be cut off. 4. Artists cannot win in subsequent weeks. You can still submit, but if you won the week before, you cannot get first place again the next week. 5. After the deadline, a moderator will pick the winner, and they will be awarded a 25 AP award.
@zoph Way to completely ignore everyones entries, lolz.
I do admit, this random objects thing is pretty odd and difficult, but it's a way to remove an artist block. Plus, it gave me inspiration for another Nergyl...well, Nergyl Device, that is.
Can someone help me? i don't know how to upload my flash drawings onto AG. could someone tell me the process without using photobucket.
Sorry I have never exported anything from Flash as of so far,but I could try to figure it out real quick...lets see.....OK,from what I have figured out is that while I don't get why you don't want to use photobucket, what you need to do is first take whatever you want to be your art submission and convert it into a symbol, and then select to make it a graphic.(I don't know if buttons or movie slips will work, but Graphics are probably your best bet.)Then you want to select that symbol and then go to the drop down menus at the top. you want to go to file then export then export image, then in the save section,at the bottom of that window you will see a thing that says "save as file type:" and next to it should be a drop down menu. You want to be sure that you have a image file type selected as the file type you want to save your graphic as.The two main types you might want to look for are .jpg's(also known as a JPEG file type) and .png's(known formally just as a PNG file type) but there are should aslo be other image file types such as bitmap and GIF that you can save it as,as well if needed, but typically unless you are making a frame by frame animation, then I would not suggest GIF and bitmap itself...well I don't even know any advantages to it,but I'm sure some one does.Point is after you do that then you will need an image hosting site.Photo bucket is typically known as one of the better,or really just more popular image hosting sites. Most likely because of how reliable they are,but after you have gotten your images uploaded to one of those sites, you will need to be sure to get the direct link to the image, not the link to the web page it is featured or shown on as in a show case, but a link to a page where only that image is on it,and then put in these BB code tags on opposite sides of the image.
<img>example image URL</img>(this is not a real URL so is should show up as the BB code I would think)
Now the place where it says example image URL should be replaced with the direct link/URL of the image. If you need anymore help with this then I suggest you ask it in the tutorial thread on this forum section. If needed for some reason, myself or someone else with more knowledge on whatever matter you are asking about could help you out with whatever you need help with at that point.Does this explain how to get a flash image up on AG?
well good to see that worked for you then, now then first off thats an interesting entry, and second off on to...whatever on topic thing we were discussing before.....hmm to do now...I think I will just end this post for now and find out.
nice use of image link BB code for your entry.Anyways I like that you have the companion cube in there.I wonder if the companion cube could talk what would it say?
