Roar!
Okay, just fast forward through judging, because... I can.
First
Goumas
I have a wonder about your style, it reminds me quite a lot of tracings, simply because of the black.
Hmm, anyway: A very good end, the panic is well converted, and the black/white convey the feeling well. I actually think it looks better like this than it would all black and white (using a black pen to outline and recolour), simply because the chaotic lines are looking better like this.
The beginning is not quite as well made, not that the idea is not good, but simply because it is contrasting the very emotional end with something a little dull and regular. Still, it is well put through, and as you used humans, hands was not a problem, though I would have liked to see them more prominent in the picture.
Second
Crimson
Crazy end of Sasquatch's days, I presume? A nice little, more personal story. The beginning does lack a bit more hands, just like I told Goumas, but otherwise it looks nifty, and shows a good story. The different effects looks quite well, and the history of Sasquatch is always interesting.
I would like to see a story written about him.
Well, since the total amount of finished entries are four, I will refrain from putting in a third place.
So mentioning:
Alt
I see no hands DX
Besides that, it is some odd end and beginning. Ice and pebbles? I might be tired and a bit stressed up, but I cannot find a way to match it up at all...
KR
I liked this idea, it is more personal than most, and is quite a "this is what I got, and this is why I have it" kinda series. Once again, I might be blind, but I cannot see any hands (though the chromosomes have arms).
Besides that, I cannot figure out the message TT TT... But I like the colours, they are nice.
Honorable mention, but had only one part:
Tuna
This. This one is rather... I like it a lot. It might be simple, but it has a strong image, and made me look up a lot of info about it.
We are so near the end, though we have been closer (2 minutes?), and let us just hope that one day, we will get hours away, though it seems like an utopian though.
This [i]could[/img] also show a warning or sign for a new beginning, where we need to be more focused on surviving.
Also:
Zophia
She sadly never got to either scan this one, or make the other part of it, though she had the idea (I saw it, it was cute), and the time to do it.
It is still a marvelous piece of art, and the amount of detail is breathtaking. I hope to see the finished version soon(er).
Now, we have a list of people who never got to finish, even though they had time enough *coughcough*, but let us just take them anyway:
Jaza
Never quite sure if it was actually made for this contest, or he just uploaded it for views.
It is... Chaotic.
Zega
Zega told of his idea, but he never got to finish it (hospital or whatnot), so the beginning would have been a dragon laying the egg.
Mitnev
It would have been... Interesting to see the beginning of this one. Now, why do I feel like a perv... Nevermind. Hopefully you will enter this round as well.

Even though this was intended to be both themes in one, it does not fit the requirements, and was therefor not considered. But a nice drawing fitting both themes, quite simple and a bit boring. The background from after the tunnel could have been nice.
Cholo
And Chuck is back. "If Chuck Norris caught a cold and sneezed, it would be the end of the world. Chuck Norris finds it too boring to catch colds, though, as they are rather slow."
And we will see about a "better" theme for the next round.
Zlith
Seizure... Anyway, how is that a beginning I wonder? I have some problems figuring out what is happening, but... God turning on the TV and creating the universe?
The image might have been better for the end, as it looks more like the TV is turned off.
Now, that was it. I will now go out and wipe my nose, as it as been bleeding some time now.
Good luck with the theme. And anyone getting the reference might get a cookie.
