Hello and welcome!

This is a spin-off of the original GFX Art Battle, but with some updated rules and changes. Please make sure to read the rules before entering, since they have been modified. Good luck, we look forward to seeing some creative artistic entries!

Competition Rules
1. Must be hand drawn, either on paper or in a program. It can then be manipulated in an graphics program. But unoriginal artwork cannot be used as the main focus. Copyrighted images cannot be used. All pieces containing copyrighted images will be disqualified.
2. Submissions must follow the current theme that has been chosen by a moderator for that week. If you submit more than one piece, please clarify which one you would like to be judged.
3. If your image is larger than 600 pixels wide, please provide a link to the image instead of posting it in the forum. Otherwise, the image will be cut off.
4. Artists cannot win in subsequent weeks. You can still submit, but if you won the week before, you cannot get first place again the next week.
5. After the deadline, a moderator will pick the winner, and they will be awarded a 25 AP award.

Awesome, Cenere! ^________^
Yay for language so few on here understand~

But Strop is gonna take a swing at us with his hammer when he sees how much we've been going off topic...

Maybe Christmas (or Yule) creatures would be a good theme. That way we can have fun with our nisser, and Americans can use elves, and some reindeer will make sense too, and... Yeah, that could work? Any support for this?

Yay^^
And as I said, Christmas/Yule creatures - not just the Scandinavian versions, but also the ones used in other countries.
I doubt it'll be used as a theme, but suggesting it and trying to be persuasive is the only thing that can give us an excuse for posting about this here instead of marching off and create a topic in the Tavern.

2600th post, yay!

Oh man! If you guys do that theme I would love to see someone do Krampus. In Germany, he goes around on Christmas beating up children who were bad. Lol. A great counterpart to good 'ol Santa.

Funny thing: Nisser ("a nisse&quot is not even tied down to being related to Christmas, or, was not...

A week, but it is not really a theme (yet). This theme should end soon, if the ninja pony gets online, and the rest of us are having on topic fun *stares at mental image once again*.

Oh, that class mate of mine:

I would be a yard gnome!

Or farm nisse, Rasmus.... Danish humour, anyone?

I would totally do that! That's a cool ol' critter!
*fights with Cenere over the idea*

Yard gnome... Wouldn't that translate to the ugly scary figures people place in their gardens/yards?
