i play a lot of tactical online games, like battlefield 2142 and i was wondering, if anyone had some nice tactics i could use. i have some myself ofc. scenario: team tryiing to get a flag. team should be devided into 1 sniper, 1 engineer(best in vehicle) and some assaults. depending on the location of the flag, the sniper should find a good position, most likely hills or taller buildings, where he have a good view over the flag. now, the assaults will now take position of a triangle around the outpost and close in on it. either that, or the engineer will do different maneuvers according to the vehicle he is using. 1: heavy tank. there are two options here. either he is acompaniet by another class on the towermaschinegun, and then storm the area, or if he is more experienced, he could move a bit away and pick them off. 2. light transport. here he can circle around the flag, roadkilling or, if acompanied by a comrade, shoot them out with the tower machinegun.
the sniper can from his position(of course) pick of enemys and report activity. an effective way of taking em over. this only works on heavyly guarded ones, otherwise its just walk in and take it
