I would bet you that the Orange Catholic Bible mentions aliens.

I have heard the same thing about the gods being aliens.

Egyptian, Aton, the sun-disk god, definitely a UFO.

Why make the Nazca lines, only viewable from high above, if it weren't for friends flying about in saucers.

So true about the Nazca lines, I mean, how would the Nazca people make these lines without any aircraft of any kind?

Probably the same mathematical calculations that allowed other ancient cultures to build aqueducts and such doing construction on both ends until they met.

Actually the Bible does speak of aliens...

...of course then it's talking about alien residents, as in foreigners. But still, it's fun to look at verses like that and pretend it's speaking of extra terrestrials.

the bible doesnt say anything about aliens...

Or does it?

Extra terrestrials get no respect:
(Ezekiel 22:29) The people of the land themselves have carried on a scheme of defrauding and have done a tearing away in robbery, and the afflicted one and the poor one they have maltreated, and the alien resident they have defrauded without justice.'

(Luke 24:18) In answer the one named Cleopas said to him: "Are you dwelling as an alien by yourself in Jerusalem and so do not know the things that have occurred in her in these days?"

Extra terrestrials would be mistreated:
(Acts 7:6) Moreover, God spoke to this effect, that his seed would be alien residents in a foreign land and [the people] would enslave them and afflict [them] for four hundred years.

Extra terrestrials are forbidden to work on this planet:
(Leviticus 16:29) YOU must not do any work, either the native or the alien resident who is residing as an alien in YOUR midst.

And here the Bible is telling us to be kind to extra terrestrials:
(Leviticus 19:33-34) 33 "And in case an alien resident resides with you as an alien in YOUR land, YOU must not mistreat him. 34 The alien resident who resides as an alien with YOU should become to YOU like a native of YOURS; and you must love him as yourself, for YOU became alien residents in the land of Egypt. I am Jehovah YOUR God."

Or proving that Abraham was really an extra terrestrial:
(Hebrews 11:8-10) 8 By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed in going out into a place he was destined to receive as an inheritance; and he went out, although not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he resided as an alien in the land of the promise as in a foreign land, and dwelt in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the very same promise. 10 For he was awaiting the city having real foundations, the builder and maker of which [city] is God.

What? Jacob was an extra terrestrial as well?
(Psalm 105:23) And Israel proceeded to come into Egypt, And Jacob himself resided as an alien in the land of Ham.

Extra terrestrials don't use spaceships. They walk:
(Isaiah 23:7) Is this YOUR [city] that was exultant from days of long ago, [from] her early times? Her feet used to bring her far away to reside as an alien.

Did I take all this too far?

I have found that to be a sarcastic comment, Iq.

It means 'alien' as in a foreigner, an immigrant, someone of another land.

Yeah, I know, but it's still fun to look at scriptures differently. ;D

I think God and Jesus and he angels are aliens. Wouldn't make a difference to us if we said they were aliens because they are from different dimensions (You can call it heaven if you like) , and we cannot see them.

The value of IqAndreas' post is that one ought to think about what the significance of the point of distinction is regarding aliens as foreigners to a land, or to this world as a whole.

It definitely does not.

Obviously you have not read the bible. It is basically the history of "bible times", mixed in with teachings of Jesus.

And also, why would the people why wrote it (AKA his Decipels, and other people close to god) bother themselves with extraterrestrials?

Sorry for the double post, but i have to introduce you to a new concept:

(Ezekiel 22:29) The people of the land themselves have carried on a scheme of defrauding and have done a tearing away in robbery, and the afflicted one and the poor one they have maltreated, and the alien resident they have defrauded without justice.'

Alien also means someone of another land, that's why sometimes on the news you here them say "Illegal Aliens". I am guarantee you that is how the term "Alien" is used in the bible.

No I am saying God is an extraterrestrial. Same exact thing. If a guy like Jesus showed up these days, people would freak out, say Alien! and kill him. Back then they just called him a liar and killed him. Everyone was raised thinking that Aliens are green men who shoot lasers. They can be anything, even advanced beings who live in other dimensions and created us. We call them gods and angels because they gave us life. No difference. I'm just playing with definitions. But you know that if some one like that came these days, half of the people would think it's god, and the other atheists and believers in science would say they are aliens.
