Pan's Labyrinth had a spectacular soundtrack. Same with LOTR.

How can u not? A great soundtrack can define a film. Eg psycho the iconic violin. Sound is a great device for film makers. Altho apart from Top Gun i would say it would be the song 'the end' at the beginning of Apocalypse Now. That is a great opening scene.
